I recommend the lemon soup, it was the highlight of lunch! The service was super friendly and the rest of the food was good and very generously portioned. I made an extra meal out of the leftovers.

Update:nI went there with a group from work. The kitchen messed up my order it came much later than my coworkers when we all ordered at the same time and they made it up to me. Food is great and the service is excellent.nnFirst review:nBIG portions--other reviewers were not exaggerating when they wrote that. Overall the food was delicious. The tatziki was a bit too lemony and the raw chopped onion on the calamari was off-putting. The moussaka was good but a bit too much cinnamon. The lemon rice soup was surprisingly tasty. The Lamb chops were tasty as were the mushrooms that accompanied them. Our server was friendly and the place was cozy.

I can't believe we haven't tried this place until now. The portions are big, the food is fabulous, and they make picking up an order feel like you are a regular just stopping by, even though I have only ever been there twice. The entrance is set up to receive sit down guests, but once you've let them know you are picking up an order, the staff took all the awkwardness out of it by making me feel like I belonged there and making sure I knew where to go to pick up my food. I have a feeling we are going to become obsessed with this place as the food is some of the best Greek style food we've had in Winnipeg.

I like how authentically Greece it feels inside. Very nice atmosphere with more sophistication than other Greek restaurants.nSadly, my chicken slouvaki tasted like fish, to which I do not eat fish.nI set the chicken aside while I continued to eat the rest of my food. Our waitress walked by several times and never approached to inquire as to why my chicken sat on a separate plate untouched.nI had to ask her to visit us and kindly explain that the chicken tastes like fish and if she could possibly bring me a new skewer.nNo problem, she said. She was back right away, which led me to believe they were already cooked and waiting.nSadly, that skewer tasted the same, a very strong fish taste.nI chose not to eat it, because of the taste and also I don't eat any seafood, so I was concerned it would bother my stomach.nThe waitress offered me a box to take it home. Sure, I'll feed it to my husband. He eats anything. Well, it turns out he thought it tasted horrible too.nI was not offered any discount or refund on my $30 meal.nI have no desire to experience that chicken again, I will not return.

Had a great experience here! Large portions and awesome service. Our server Grace was amazing! She recommended the Greek platter and it was delicious! Will definitely be back and requesting Grace as our server again!
