Capital Grill and Bar

Capital is great. There's a diverse menu with food that will appeal to more- and less-adventurous eaters alike. The service is always fantastic. It's not a huge restaurant, so Friday and Saturday dinners might need reservations. Of particular interest is the Tuna Nicoise, very delicious. The desserts are generous, easily shared between two. The location is quite a distance from the usual neighbourhoods that hip eateries are found. It's location in a small strip mall sandwiched between a Subway and a Starbucks might make it easy to overlook this hidden gem.

What a great restaurant! Friendly staff, great atmosphere and wonderful food. Our only challenge was deciding what to try. I guess we'll just have to come back. :)

Soup was fantastic. Had the tuna sushi rolls with a light batter. Tasty slightly greasy but otherwise not too bad. Pasco sour was a great cocktail! Cozy atmosphere.

I stopped here based on Google reviews and I wasn't disappointed! Dinner was delicious and the staff were super friendly. They are just waiting on some city approvals for the patio and once that happens, I can see sitting out there for hours enjoying great food and good drinks! I highly recommend you give Capital a try if you are in the area.

Best burger in the city..maybe Canada..fries too! Love the new patio. Never disappoints..popcorn shrimp...tuna tempura roll...fish and chips...let's just say everything is always consistently delicious. Thank you Greg and Wayne for bringing your brand of excellence to Winnipeg.
