I believe that this restaurant has struck the perfect chord with serving authentic Indian food along with an amazing service and ambience. As a Desi myself, I find it difficult to find a place that serves authentic Indian food while still being a bit upscale. I think I’ve found it in Tasty Indian Bistro. Try to choose the spot which is facing the tandoor, it’s pretty cool to see the chefs at work.
So this was the most expensive meal I have ever had at any restaurant in my life yet. So, yes, coming for a second time is not going to be possible.nThat being said, the food, the ambiance, the service were superb. No other Indian restaurant in the area can best it.nnI had one minor suggestion. If the restaurant is Indian why play music from the west only?
The food is just amazing. I think amazing is also not the right word, I would probably say that the food was so delicious that it blew my mind. Never had such better Indian food. So similar to the Indian taste. One of my go to place in Vancouver.
I was very impressed with this restaurant. It is huge, very clean and beautiful inside and outside with various statues and the flames! There is a special area just for take out and prices are the same for take out and dining in. The food was delicious. I had chicken vindaloo and a few varieties of naan. We also had the vegetarian biryani and my friend said it was the best biryani he’s had. I loved the customers and how diverse they were as well as the staff. The servers were super helpful and friendly. It was so busy when we went but still managed to get a table quickly. Would highly recommend for a nice evening out for Indian food.
Food is good, can be better but ambience is great. SERVICE needs an overhaul and looks like a planned theme where everyone works like a pre fed system.nHas uts pros and cons.nMocktail was really below average like a sweet water garnished well.nPortions are good for 2
