Barcelo's Flame Grilled Chicken

It’s a great place to dine in or order out. It’s usually been quite each time we went. Service is good. We order take out quite a bit and it’s always been ready on time and we have never had any issues! It is a kid friendly place. Their portions are good size as well.

Great place. If you like another well known Portuguese chicken place... you will love this one. Sides are tasty. Staff efficient but friendly. Good atmosphere.

Unfortunately, I have to select one star as that is minimum as this location deserve no star. But, I got a ridiculous service and food at this place. I have been to Barcelos at a different location at king George and really liked service and food. This was my first time at the location near Walmart. The service was really bad. The girl working over there has no care for customer. She was busy with her friends, sitting on a table with them. I needed some sauces, but she has no time for us. Food was really bad, and wasn't cooked properly. The breast chicken I ordered was really bad. My son ordered wings which were burned out. The sandwich was really badly dressed. I would never go to this location. I love Barcelos food, but will go to king George location instead of this.

The food was really good. The chicken was flavourful and there were a lot of options for sides. One issue though. It's a help yourself kind of restaurant where you fill even your own glass of water, go up to the front to order food and pay before the food is consumed. Much like a fast food restaurant. For a restaurant like that to have a 15% gratuity standard for a group of 6 is not correct. Gratuity comes after the service is given, apart from bringing the food to the table there's no service, so to expect 15% upfront is bad policy
