A discreet little restaurant in the middle of North Street, UB1, that absolutely lives up to its reputation of the best samosas this side of town. Hand made, decently large, properly cooked, and fabulously tasty. I can wait to return and try more of their menu. Secure bicycle parking is just a few feet away from their entrance.
We have just had a delicious dinner. Everyone enjoyed all the tastes and flavours and the quality of the food. We had Pakoras, Samosas, Chicken Tikka Masala, Saag Paneer, Naans, rice & Chana Masala. The staff were very friendly.
Huge portion sizes, everything tasted great. Can’t wait to come back.
Great place to eat every punjabi dish in Hayes, UK like veg samosa, nonveg samosa, paneer samosa, chaat, samosa chaat, chole bhatura etc. any many more plus sweets with excellent sittings... and most important point is that everything is fresh fry after order, not prefried. The owner of the restaurant, Mr. Ranjeet Singh is also at the counter with smiling face and jolly nature to attend the customers....WMK
I have not been able to write this review because I was suffering from burns and shock. My friend and I were overcharged so I said show me the bill. He refused so I totaled it and it was £16/- even after paying the £1/- extra per dish, for eatin. So I complained but non of the staff helped. So I slapped the cash paid extra on the counter and I hope this satisfies you. A note slipped and fell on the other side. So what did he do? Tut for tat. He flung the food at me and it fell all over my leg shoe and amazingly a huge dolop on my stomach. I got burnt as it was kadi and butter chicken both liquid. My family asked why I did not call the police. I was in severe shock. Thank God my friend was able to drive me home. I had to put a 1 * but you decide.
The most delicious northern indian food we’ve ever had in london. The restaurant is humble in appearance, to put it lightly. However, I guarantee you will not be disappointed by the taste and value, as that more than made up for the setting. My family and I look forward to coming back here when we next get the chance.
Fantastic food! Asked for catering for 100 people. Samosas, Pakodas, Biryani, Channa, Bhatura and all the extras were absolutely delicious. No shortage of food, people were raving about how delicious it was and the freshness of everything. Highly highly recommend Taste of Punjab for eat in, takeaway and catering!
So we reached Southall just eat some great Indian - Punjabi food... After eating some street side chaat.. We reached Taste of Punjab, a Take-Out and Dine-in restaurant. We ordered a Gobi Paratha, Chicken and Lamb dishes and it was amazing... Enjoyed a typical paratha with butter on it along with some freshly made lassi. Thank You. Definitely visiting again
We got chicken tikka rolls and paneer rolls. The chicken rolls taste was good but paneer was a waste of money. Overall the food all smells somewhat odd like unburnt gas, not sure why that is.
Ordered a large kebab roll . . When I got home I started eating it.The roll was 90% lettuce with 2 very small kebabs . Very dissatisfied, I would never order this item again. . If I had been in the restaurant I would have thrown it back at the chef . .
