My Experience was Great!!!! The Food Tastes " Authentic South Indian". Has a chance to Interact with one of the Owners; I felt his passion, for the Quality & Authenticity of the South Indian Food they serve. I Hope they sustain it!!! Tons of Cheers to the Team.
Tried masala dosa there. Good tasting food. However, giving 3 stars because they keep the place extremely cold. Every single customer was wearing a jacket while having their food. We kindly asked the server to increase the heat a tad bit but she dismissed us saying the heat is already on. Not sure if we would go back again as it was very uncomfortable and unpleasant experience - eating dinner while almost shivering. We have been to this place several times, it has always been cold, it wasn't one odd day. So, if y'all must try their food then go prepared with a few layers on lol. Edit after receiving reply from owner: A customer does not put google reviews with such details for fun. Everyone in the place were wearing jackets, not everyone will speak up. How do you see every single person wearing a jacket while eating and not respond to change that situation? You could have just apologized and said we will work on improving the customer satisfaction instead of defending how the place was heated. Definitely not coming back now. There are gazillion dosa places in edmonton and they have decency to keep the temperature adequate.
Being from Southern India, found their Medu wadauddin wada with great flavour and crispy just right. Dosa was pleasing, Sambar was delicious, Just like Darsiniiii’s or kanteens we find back in India. Will come back when in Town. & Good service.
The value for food is perfect. Good portions, very delicious food. Definitely try the butter chicken, I've been to many restaurants and this is in the top 3. They use chicken thighs and perfectly spice it. I'm excited to come again and try the vegetable kurma.
Service was quick and efficient, food was brought to us quickly. The dosa was good, decent size, but their meat dish was way too small in size. For $15 or so you get a small bowl with 4 pieces of chicken. Not impressed. Will not be ordering any meat dish from this place in future.Food: 4/5
This place never fails to amaze me with the food and service. One of my favourite places to go! More than four visits have been made to this location. Tried most of the items from their menu lists. All are wonderful. Foods are delicious and taste like back home. Pretty sure, No one can beat the taste and service! Especially the girl Navdeep.The BEST SOUTH INDIAN restaurant in Edmonton. All must try it at least once!!
When we think about celebrations, Mudpot is always our first option and it never disappoints. Everything was of the highest quality and taste, from the appetizer to the dessert. The catering service is phenomenal, wide variety of options to chose from and Ravi Master chef is ready to prepare any Indian dish, just name it. Thank you team for providing such a tasteful food for my house warning event, we immensely enjoyed all the items.
Best South Indian restaurant in Edmonton. Best place to visit with your family. Must try their Panner tikka dosa. Best hygiene and customer service. Special thanks to Pawan for welcoming customer service.
Mudpot has the best customer service of any indian restaurant we have recently been to, some of the best food their appetizers are a must have especially the chilli panner, and such a great ambience. Only critique would be for the price, if the quantity of milkshake given would be a bit more. Apart from that, this place is amazing! Vegetarian options: Outstanding vegetarian options! Parking: Ample parking.
