Home of the $6.99 lunch! Comes with a soup, two of the best egg rolls you'll ever have and your choice of main. Great portion sizes. The plum sauce is homemade and tastes fantastic. The owner is very friendly. Service was fast. Be sure to check it out. I will definitely be coming back here with friends, family and coworkers! They only recently July 1, 2018 changed their hours to be closed on Mondays but I happened to be there on the 9th and he was open so as to accommodate anyone that missed the memo! What a guy!

My Favourite Japanese Food Place. Being eating their food from when they were in Mic Mac Mall. Owner and Staff are super friendly. Food is made Fresh...Healthy and No MSG!!

Our new favourite place for Chinese take-out in Dartmouth! We've tried several of the dishes from Combos and all have been good. We love the 2 item combo option that allows you to choose any 2 items from the list! The egg rolls are also way above average delicious. The prices are more reasonable than most places too! Just tried the lunch special today and am pleased with that as well--a great deal!

I was devastated to find out that the owners were leaving Sukiyaki in Mic Mac mall, but I was excited to hear they are now the owners of Taste Garden. They still offer the chicken teriyaki plate I would always order from sukiyaki and it’s even better than before. The vegetables are a slight different than before but I still find the dish enjoyable and tasty.

Fantastic food! I was so excited when I tried one of their eggrolls and it wasn't meat paste! Service was excellent and the people working there were very nice! I am definitely going to make Taste Garden my regular Chinese food place.

Got take out last night for the first time from Taste Garden! They picked the right name! Tasty and fresh! Excellent food, good prices! We will definitely order from here again soon!

Chicken fried rice and honey garlic ribs were really good. Too much much cabbage in the egg roll for me I like a neat egg roll. Chicken ball were good could use a little more sauce. Overall not bad.

We ordered food from here last Friday based on past reviews but we were very disappointed. I had the shrimp curry with vegetables and the latter was mainly huge chunks of green pepper, one piece still had the little sticky label on it - yuk! Sorry, but we won't be going back.

I always rate the food based on my experiences. Among all the top restaurants in hrm, this place is one of the best. It is really good however it does lack an expansive menu. Portion sizes are on par with other restos. The taste is subtle but just enough for you to enjoy the proper flavour. They deliver and are always friendly and consistent in how the food is cooked. Highly recommended for those lazy and i want good food night. Nice job.

I ordered 4 single item combos with no deviation from the menu. The lady taking the order seemed to have difficulty understanding. After 5+ mins to order a very basic order, I requested the order be read back to me to be sure she got it. She repeated it back and it was correct. I was told the order arrived in 1 hr 15 mins. After paying, i found that one of the combos was ginger beef instead of ginger chicken. I called to let them know of the error. The result of the complaint was that they offered me a credit for the ginger chicken for next time i ordered. I agreed as i didnt want to wait another potential hour for food. I then sat down to join my already eating family. I opened the mistaken order of ginger beef. I did not look appetizing but I was hungry so I began to eat the breadded meat. It did not taste like beef, but was dark si i assumed that was what it was. As i began to lift the third bite of tasteless meat to my mouth i realized there was some sort of hair or whiskers in the breading. I had already eaten two pieces and this was revolting. There were dozens. They did not care. I'm sick.
