Based on my 2 visits in the last 2 months, service has been amazing and food has always been hot and taste great. I love ordering food on a tablet so there is less order mistakes and less person to person interaction for introverts like me. The tablet also includes icons to show what is vegetarian or spicy as well. Went both times with my vegetarian girlfriend and found the menu has many wonderful vegetarian options that everyone can enjoy. No problems at anytime and I find the price for all you can eat is very fair for what you can get. Dessert is included in the price, drinks are extra. Highly recommend and will be going to eat here at least once a month.
In my experience most places the sushi in all you can eat buffets are average taste or below average; however I was so surprised that here the sushi’s were actually very good. I enjoyed all the sushi; However that other items like beef teriyaki or calamari teriyaki were not tasty at all. You need to be careful to choose other items except sushi. Overall it was a satisfying experience so I put 5 star as the servers were super friendly.
Hit one of our favourite places for sushi. Faves Sashimi- wife’s favorite Chicken teriyaki- fave Spicy red tuna - fave Rainbow roll - a mix of everything super tasty Garlic beef - super tasty quality meat Salmon teriyaki - wow smallest cooked portion ever about the size of a toony kinda made me giggle was tasty. Ice creams - mango and chocolate Just ok Cheese wonton - while it says it was cheese it kind tasted like crab. Not bad just different flavour. Chicken skewer - chicken parts cooked together was just ok. Beef skewer - quality beef but was greasy Rock roll - rather large to fit in mouth but was ok Dynamite or dragon roll - it was ok but bland Not my thing Three colour roll - the blend of mango and cream cheese didn’t pair well for me with the salmon Service was on point. Orders were delivered promptly Price point was about 5$ too high comparing to other places.
This is easily one of the best Lebanese restaurants in Halifax! The owner is very generous and kind, we got lentil soup on the house, and the food portions are very good. The food is so delicious and make up for the price. This place only accepts cash.
We had never heard of this all you can eat restaraunt before. We happened to be in the area and googled Japanese cuisine. We were not disappointed. Moderate amount of parking spaces for a strip mall corner side store front; with plenty of seating inside. Can easily accomidate large groups, or appropriate for small intimate meals. The host sat us at a window booth around 230. Lunch price and menu ended 215. So, for over 30$ a person supper menu was offered. A bite pricy for all you can eat but justifiable price *IF* you dont tip, want quick service and considering covid recoup for business/tourist slump.... but because of price it wouldn't be a regular spot for us. How to order: From our table a tablet was handed to us to select the images to send our own order digitally to the kitchen. Items were separated into categories, and when clicked upon the photo you can see a brief description of some of the items, click quantities then send the order to the kitchen. As many times as you like. The establishment was medium well maintained no obveous structual wear a tear, with wood chop sticks and serving dishes in good shape. Bathrooms were suitable but could use some touch up. Old finger prints on the tablet. Standard canadian accomidated sushi and Thai food. Quick and friendly service with servers brining one or a few items to all tables throughout your meal. Requests you click allergies first on the tablet. Nice!
This is a great place to eat. The food is fresh and delicious, the servers are very responsive if you need anything; empty plates get picked up fast, water refilled etc - the service is excellent and they deserve exceptional tip for great service. The portions are small which gives you an opportunity to try everything and to order more of what you like.
Saw this restaurant featured on Joel Hansen's Youtube Channel and he raved about how good it was. So they were a Must Try when I was in Dartmouth/Halifax next. Glad I listened to him! It was delicious! Good service. Good kitchen speed. Slick ordering system. 45 minutes later I was stuffed! I'll go back for sure.
Awful. Way too much rice, rolls are way too big- not in a good way. Flavourless. Cover everything in too much sauce to mask poor quality food. Spicy tuna had too much tempura in the middle tasted like I was eating sand. Very poor quality sushi.
Mizu is certainly one of the best places I like to go for All You Can Eat Sushi in Halifax, The vibe and the atmosphere are super comforting, the staff go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need and are quite friendly. It’s well worth the price for the All You Can Eat Sushi, the quality is top-notch, and the portions are not too large.
Love Mizu. Always great sushi . So.e items are a little slow coming out worth the wait.
