Fong has been our Chinese restaurant go-to delivery place for the last year we had switched. We both have been very happy with the quality of the food. Prices are a little high but you get what you pay for. Our only comment is the Ginger beef and the Broccoli and beef should have a little more beef them. Deliveries well-packed, even card-board placed on bottom of the bag to make things easier. Solid 4-star rating.
Recently visited Fong's restaurant which I have eaten at since 2000. It was usually good, but my recent meal was exceptional. It is under new management, so I was hesitant. However, I was pleasantly surprised, as it was delicious and plentiful. The egg rolls were amazing and crispy. I ordered the Almond Soo Gai,which was cooked to perfection with plenty of gravy and almonds. Everything was piping hot and service was wonderful. The decor is dated but the food has definitely worth the visit.
Walked into the restaurant and had seated myself at a table that hadn’t been cleaned up from and they were busy and understaffed the girl was distracted and half cleaned the table still leaving plates and napkins as we waited for 15 plus minutes and elderly couple who sat after us was brought their menus as we sat waiting an additional 5 minutes so we walked out not knowing how good or bad the food was and I’m currently sit at U like it Chinese food on Main Street with a meal in front of me within 10 minutes of sitting down so I will never be back to Fongs again. Terrible service and will never know how the food is
Best Chinese food in Cole Harbour. The ownership has changed recently and it still has decent chop suey menu. Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian options. Mushroom drop soup, hot and sour soup, tofu dishes and chow main Kid-friendliness: There are kids sized entrees Parking: Lots of parking Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair parking available
This is the worst Chinese food. The rice was overcooked, all the beef looked like dog food and everything was soggy. My husband said the fried things shrimp and chicken were ok. I would not recommend ordering from here. Maybe if you eat it there it's ok, but not take out.
Had #8 and lunch partner had#9 we shared the dishes...food is very good seems to change for the better when they changed over owners meaning it's still yummy..Food: 5/5
Some dishes were bit under par, because they're usually delicious. We'll be backFood: 4/5
I wanted Chinese food, and tans my regular place wasn’t open yet so we decided to get Fongs. Absolutely terrible. Rice looked burnt and had bits from the pan that were burnt left overs. Vegetable spring rolls tasted like fish and cheese somehow. Also found a mysterious brown thing in a chicken ball. Overall, just not worth the money.
1x/ slice of beef in the beef and broccoli. Almond Sou Gai had 1/4 of a chicken breast. Bad food, bad quality, terrible price.
Reception girl have worst behaviour with Dalivery guys. She never say Hi and never asked order number. She behaves good with other coustmers.I’m feel very uncomfortable when i go for pickup orders.
