The store being a mess is not the fault of the employees but rather the pigs that come in to shop and fling things everywhere. Remember, those who shop have a responsibility to put things back where you found them if you don't want them. And, allowing kids to run the store is ill-mannered, especially when no one taught them manners.

I enjoy shopping at Target but have noticed more than once how messy the store looks. Clothes are strewn all over the floor. There are cardboard boxes of inventory sitting in the aisles and the endcaps of many of the displays look like catchalls for clutter. I'm not sure what the cause is but it sure does not look inviting.
