"Our founder, La Bonita herself, is from the State of Jalisco, the part of Mexico known famously for its Mariachi and the best tequila. In the yard of the family home where she spent her childhood, fruit trees were always giving throughout the year; avocados, limes, mangos, starfruit, passion fruit, guavas and papayas were always in abundance. Delicious food literally fell from the sky! She remembers watching her father create in the kitchen with fresh ingredients, and it was her family’s dedication to delicious food and hard work that inspired her to open a restaurant."

Had an amazing first time experience on Saturday night! I’ve been meaning to come check this place out for quite some time and I’m so pleased I went. Food & drinks were great! Authentic flavours and colourful cocktails • Great quality & value too! Best classic margarita I’ve had in a while. Service was very friendly as well. Our table of two interacted with all the staff; Truly a welcoming vibe where the servers all help each other out…If we needed anything, there was always a server nearby. I would definitely go back!
This place has a great and fun vibe to it because it’s a restaurant you can also get up and dance without any shame. The staff is genuinely happy to be there and attentive. The menu has many gluten free options and they clearly stand out on the menu. All the dishes my table ordered gluten free or not were great, but the favourites were the virgin lime and orange margarita, Aztec soup and the crunch tacos. Will definitely be returning here for another fun night.
This restaurant has super cute decor and such a great ambience. The employees were all very nice and made us feel welcomed. The tacos itself tasted pretty good as well and they had lots of different options to choose from which is always a plus. The only downside was the amount of time we had to wait to get our food. Overall, I recommend this restaurant if you are craving tacos.
Quite good and fast service on a Friday night. The list of mixed drinks was interesting and although the cocktails were a bit more expensive than some may be used to paying, you get your money’s worth in terms of quality. Very nice ambiance for a date night or group setting.
Lovely vibes, good authentic food and friendly servers I loved the decorations on the wall and the variety of different kind of seats. The food looked small at first but was so filling! I loved that the drink menu was on the bottles and the cards. Super cool placd Definitely coming again
This was the best Mexican restaurant that I’ve been to in Ottawa. My friend and I had the chicken tacos dorados the vegetarian super burrito picture 1, churros and tres leches for desert picture 2. We also tried a couple of their cocktails. Everything my friend and I had here tasted fresh and delicious. The presentation of the drinks was super fun & they tasted amazing too. I would recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a fun environment with good drinks and food. Definitely a great place to go out with friends or a fun date night. The food was served to us very quickly & the staff was also super nice & very attentive. Lastly, they had really great latin music playing too! Highly recommend! we will definitely become regular customers. Thank you! :
Love La Bonita Restaurant!!! Service was amazing, cocktails were so good, and the nachos were amazing. Great vibe! This place is so cool, the decor definitely adds to the distinction of this amazing Latin restaurant. Wonderful ambiance and great Mexican and authentic decorations. Do not miss the chorizo nachos, they are delicious. Soup and the pastor tacos are amazing . Great choice of tequilas and loved the sangria!
Absolutely fantastic!! Food is delicious, margaritas are made with passion, style and taste great. Awesome place to be with fun atmosphere. Staff are very happy and the service is great.
The cutest place to grab a bite with friends!! I got the 3 tacos for around $20 and they were pretty good. The blue drink La Luna was stronnnnnng, so it was worth being $14.Food: 4/5
