I ordered birria from this place and was expecting something that would at least have some flavor... Very disappointed. Probably my favorite mexican in town right now because the food is cheap and delicious. Lots of variety for tacos and they are served warm with onions and cilantro, which is how it should be. The lengua was very soft - though could use more searing.
Went here for the first time today on a whim and grabbed takeout with some friends. First of all the staff was amazing! They were very friendly and everything was done quickly. I ordered a horchata and 2 chimichangas al pastor and both were absolutely delicious! I will definitely be ordering from here again
Love the food here! The Chile Relleno is a great vegetarian dish that I have often eaten here, and highly recommend the food and atmosphere!
One of my favorite places for Mexican food in Madison. As a long time Texas resident, I have high expectations and El Jalapeno meets them every time. The prices and portions are great. I have also taken advantage of delivery. The food is delivered quickly and is just as good.
