Visiting from California we have our share of Hispanic restaurants or taco trucks. My expectations were not high. The food is decent but I would not go out of my way to eat here. The enchiladas were okay but the chicken was spicy which took the flavor away from the enchilada sauce. The mole was good but left a lot to be desired with the mole sauce, salt and more of a chocolate flavor were missing components. I ordered a michelada which was also okay oddly received it with a quarter of the glass empty or full the perception is yours. Presentation is not everything but maybe a smaller glass would be better. The service could also be better, if you’re in a pinch you’ll be able to dine here or get something to go on the fly.
Very nice place! Lovely art inside and very friendly staff as well as amazing food! The food is next level of deliciousness! 10/10 recommended if your looking for some yummy food on a budget.
They have 4 semi to mostly shaded tables outside. Good service. I love their carnitas dinner plate. Very flavorful pork.
Order a torta with everything and they forgot to put the meat in the Torta & i call them if they can send me a new order or refund money , they wouldn’t help me at all . Not recommend. Worst customer service Manager doesn’t help at all Peor servicio , no lo recomiendo , torta sin carne .
Bomb cemita poblano sandwich the popular torta of Puebla and delicious big cup of horchata, I also had a very delicious burrito from this place the night before.
As far as Mexican eateries in Madison, this one ranks up there. I've a friend that lives close by and we like to frequently eat here. There isn't a ton of space inside for seating, but there is enough. The food is really good, my only complaint is that there isn't really an "a la carte" option for tacos when it's not Tuesday. I want tacos every day of the week.
One of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve ever been to. Huge fan of the mango margarita, tacos al pastor, and the chicken chimichanga! It seems like the place is always understaffed… however their service is top notch. They can be packed but still get the order right and on the table in no time! Hard working people, great food, and a good environment.
A very cheap, cozy restaurant with high quantities of food at very low prices. The food is consistently great, albeit not anything high-class or anything like that. Delicious carnitas and chorizo are sometimes just what you need, though. $11 got me a large size chimichanga with a side of rice and beans. I thought the sandwich bun was a bit hard, but every other dish I've had when I've been there has been delicious. I always leave with a very full belly AND a very full wallet.
Have absolutely no complaints. This place was great. Loved the vibe and the staff was so friendly. I didn't pay for the meal when I went but it seemed very reasonably priced for the portion. Just a solid place and have been meaning to come back.
Food was good and incredibly fast, matter of minutes fast. We sat at the small bar area and actually had trouble getting a another drink. Quesadilla I had was good and I would definitely order again. Probably won't sit at the bar if we return due to some of the festive lights being in your face, but would happily return.Food: 5/5
