La Penca Mexican Restaurant

Delicious!! The Colorado was so good and the sauce and meat had a ton of flavor. The salsa in the red bottle is hottt! Would recommend.

We were staying downtown at the Edgewater and just had enough with downtown eateries. Googled and found the great reviews. Glad I did. Great food and great portions and prices. There is a parking lot, so you don't have to worry about parking..

La Penca is my favorite Mexican restaurant in Madison. They have some of the best chicken. The nachos are amazing with no shortage of meat and toppings, every bite is loaded.

If you're looking for a quaint, authentic Mexican restaurant. Come here. Some days we get personal service from the owner, sometimes we get service from the small group of staff. Services prompt. The meals are fantastic. My favorite is the burrito Diablo with plenty of chorizo in it.

2 steak tacos with onions and cilantros rice and refried beans on side best Mexican joint ever my one and only recommendation to eat here

Got take out from here. Super good. Will be back
