Tapp Car

I tried Tapp Car twice. The 1st time the driver was fine and the trip was ok. The second time, I called from the University Hospital. I waited an hour and then gave up .I flagged down a Yellow Cab . I'm convinced that the 2nd Tapp Car driver hoarded my call and then took another call in the meantime. The dispatcher was making excuses on why he was late. Sounded like that was their procedure.If the company allows this unprofessional behavior, and I believe they do ,then Tapp Car is doomed! I can't trust them again.

My very first ride sharing app that I decided to used going to YEG airport. Driver arrived within a reasonable time but told me when I got inside the car that he's only accepting cash. I gave in as it was in the wee hours of the morning & might be late for my flight. Ended up paying more than the taxi cab fare that was quoted to me earlier over the phone. In addition, Tapp charged me for a no show fee as the driver cancelled my booking. Definitely Uber all the way

I'd give it zero stars if I could. Horrible experiences. Tried to get a car, it was dispatching a car for over 20 minutes so I canceled it like any normal person would because no one would accept the dispatch. Yet they go ahead and charge you a cancel fee even though a car was never coming. I then tried a second time and the command center canceled my dispatch due to there being no one in the area and they still charged me another fee. Then I proceed to check my credit card bill a few days later and I have 4 cancel charges from them. Tried calling them and nothing was ever sorted out. Will never use Tapp car again, Uber will be my choice from now on.

I like tappcar but many drivers incorrectly believe them to be cheaper than taxis. This is not true. As someone who uses a taxi to get home from work four nights a week, I can say that the price is IDENTICAL at least in Manitoba. The only benefit to me, especially now that all the taxis have tracking apps, is being able to pay with a credit card via the app. Also drivers cannot make stops like taxis/Uber can - a major downside for me.

Worst experience EVER! I booked a car to show up at a certain time, so that I wouldn't be late for work! Well I got the email that said 28 minutes until your car arrives! 35 minutes later I called and they said the car was at my place and they left! But how was that when I was waiting outside my place for 20 minutes prior and their was no dym car around! Never again will I use a tap car, their customer service Sucks! The agent I spoke with was rude from the moment he opened his mouth!

I never make reviews because it is of no interest to me, but I have never felt so strongly about my bad experiences with a company. DO NOT take Tappcarr. I would legitimately rather travel by dogsled than take a TappCar. It is a waste of time, money and stress. They have the worst customer service and worst wait times for a car that I've ever experienced in my life. Uber is 10x better. You're even better off taking a yellow cab.

My wife and I caught a ride in a Tappcar Friday night. I forgot my phone in the drivers car. On Saturday morning I found my phone using Google “find my phone” made it ring and locked it out. I could see it moving around, so I assumed it was in the Tappcar. The driver called me back later in the day, that he found my phone - didn’t call me back again on Saturday. I offered to come pick up my phone and he would not allow me to meet him on Saturday. On Sunday at 11:30am the driver called me again to say he had my phone. I offered to meet him and he denied me to meet him that he would lose work. He would only drop my phone off for $20.00. HE IS EXTORTING ME, FOR MY PHONE!!!! I called Tappcar and there is nothing they can do about this currently, other than tell me the driver is not following policy....

On Saturday I used the tapp car app, reserved a ride for 5am on Monday. At 4:45 I got an all drivers are busy notification, then one at 5:10. I called their Edmonton number, they put me through to customer service and they told me they no drivers in my area at that time, they could maybe get somebody to me by 5:59. My surgery was for 6am. So I said that’s not good enough. I pulled up my UBER app, guy got to me in 6 minutes amd I made my surgery. Thanks UBER!

Yesterday I order a car tget rd me 15 to 20 mins but showed approx. 6 min arrival . So I went an wait outside for about a 4 minute wait . Got the call that my car has arrived. I've already been out side for about 7 mins . There was no car in site. So I call dispatch and tell them there's no car. Dispatch says hell get drive to call. Driver calls n ssys ge went to wrong address so u xall dispatch back and tell them he us 164 ave bit 64st. And he says he sorry. I ASK HOW THERE GOU G TO HELP ME QUICKLY AND NOW ... was told to order another car it be 15 20 mins ....... Total piss off Ugg

Our trip was redeemed and more affordable because of the Tappcar app! I greatly appreciated our first driver- he rescued us from Unicity taxi service. I will only be using Tappcar when we visit Winnipeg.
