Everything here is just red, and not tasty at all. Look at the pics I've posted. They arent filtered, they actually are red!. I have tried it multiple times in the hopes that it may have improved over the years but nope. Flavour is bad. Worst was the American chopsuey - Overly sweet and of course red. Even the fried rice was red! Save your money until the restaurant decides to improve the quality of their food.
The photo says it all. Craziest part was that there was 3-4x the amount of the noodles that I ended up chucking beforehand. I tried my best to salvage whatever chicken I could find amongst the hellfire of noodles they gave me. When I opened the lid, there was an entire BRICK of noodles shaped to the dimensions of the container. I cannot believe how bad this restaurant is. Staff are miserable to put it lightly. Spend your money elsewhere… there are no redeeming qualities about the restaurant and it’s staff. Sorry.
This place is not run well. The random fees they charge feel like it's whenever they want. I was given a price on the phone when ordering and I paid in exact change only to be told after I left the restaurant that I owed them more money. The food is not the best - you can definitely find better Chinese food elsewhere. If your goal is to penny pinch and take every customer for more money, you'll end up out of business soon enough.

Absolutely horrific customer service. 1. I walked in and the staff for no reason at all greeted my daughter and I so rudely . My daughter 11yrs was deciding what she wanted and she couldn’t do quick enough for this lady. 2. I ordered cantoneas chicken chow mein , it was literally a pool of sauce. My daughter had to dig under the sauce for noodles with literally 2 slithers of chicken. I addressed this with the front staff and they called out an older man that appeared to be the owner or manager. He said thats how it was made and he didn’t ask me to come into his restaurant, that i had come in voluntarily. I was completely taken away of the garbage of response he gave me. What kind of business owner says that to a customer. The food was not edible and absolute trash. Save your money and support a business that actually care about quality and customers. I will NEVER give this restaurant my business again and I SO NOT recommend this restaurant in any way.
Horrible service! Chicken pakoras were black and burnt. The hot and sour soup had smelly chicken. They HIDE the fact they charge you a 10% tip on all orders and don’t provide a receipt with detail breakdown so they can hide it! I had to ask for my bill and noticed a 10% tip already charged, to then be told it’s “management fees” like wth which management does this? And why wouldn’t you make it known. The server sneakily also waited to receive an extra tip and quickly walked off! Quality and service has gone so down over the years, definitely will not be returning.
Ordered many time, food is good most of time. This time it was sooo spicy no one could eat it. I offered to bring back old food to exchange not looking for freebies. I was told that sometimes the chilis are more spicy.and it can't be controlled and that my taste pallette may have changed. They were so rude. How can the taste be out of your control? Never again!
Quality of food has gone down Tremendously. We have been ordering from here from the day they opened and have seen in recent past the food is of a very low quality these days. Maybe no Hakka options available nearby is one of the reasons. Have to drive further south now for good Hakka food.
Tangerine is an excellent place with friendly staff, great service, and delicious food. The Tangerine Shredded Chicken and Bombay Chicken were outstanding If you like spicy food!!. Highly recommend this restaurant for anyone who loves flavorful Hakka Fusion!!!!
If I could give this place no stars I would. Had lunch there and ordered the vegetable cantonese chow mein. The noodles were crispy and looked like they had been removed from the package, slapped on the plate and smothered in gravy and some vegetables. When I questioned the server about it he said that I should wait for the noodles to soften up in order to eat them. Huh? I was there 30 minutes and they had not softened up enough to eat them. Needless to say I did not eat it and was stilled billed for it and was charged a service fee!!! Seriously???? The dishes my friends ordered were unappealing and looked like it had been cooked the day before and heated up. Don't waste your time going to this place.
