Take a Bao Eats

My new favorite restaurant! There was a problem with my delivery because of "Grabhogg", but I was determined to try these succulent looking Bao, so I repeated my order. A few minutes later Ana herself called me to find out what happened and sent me a free Bao-nut for dessert! The second order arrived fast, beautifully sealed for my protection and everything inside was very delicious! Highly recommended!

Super awesome customer service and friendly owners! I enjoyed my first time trying the baos from this place. I really loved the crispy shrimp Bao 5/5 which was a wonderful mix of crispy shrimp, flavorful toppings, on a super soft and fluffy Bao. The crispy chicken Bao was also yummy. I didn’t like the pork belly Bao as much because the pork was a little too tough for me. All in all, still a wonderful local business and definitely worth a shot!

This place has become one of my favorite spots in Chicago! We order maybe 3 times a week. The chicken dumplings are to die for! Always perfectly crisp when you bite into them before gushing with juicy flavors. My order always comes with a personalized note. This Halloween, Ana sent a sweet note with candy! I can’t express how much we love this place. Thank you for sharing your amazing cooking, and for always providing a personal and kind experience.

Wow. Worth a 5-star review just for how the delivery food came prepared! On top of that, the baos were flavorful but not overly saucy so you can pick them up without the whole bar breaking apart. First time ordering but now a forger customer!

My husband went on a adventure of ordering out since I was on vacation, he told me this place was fantastic. Today he order it for me and let me tell you best place ever! it was so good I told him to order again for dinner ! .The bao bun are so soft and fresh, the chicken is perfect crispy sensation sauce is fantastic dumplings the veggie and chicken are mouth watering the dessert will make you pack a pound or 3 lol overall for take the presentation and quality is too perfection 100% satisfied I am thank you take a bao for making my day :

wow - delicious!!! Ordered for the 1st time via uber eats and am pleasantly surprised! I had the combo with the 2 baos crispy chicken and teriyaki pork, dumplings pork and bao nuts cinnamon sugar. I'm blown away and how good everything tastes. I will be back -- and often!!

4.5/5 First off? Service was amazing, my food was ready in 10 minutes and they left such a sweet note! And then I ate the bao. It was mouth wateringly delicious, like I wish I ordered another one because I was craving it an hour later delicious. The only reason J knocked it down a bit was because of the dessert. So, so incredibly sweet of them to include it, but I believe the recipe could definitely be improved as it was quite oily, not much cinnamon sugar flavor. But over all? Experience and food were superb!

Neat order pick- up, delicious food as pictured, Kind staff and a free cinnamon sugar bao-nut I called because I was able to pick up sooner than I originally set my order pick-up time for online. They were quick and a gentleman was already waiting for me outside when I pulled up. They included a cinnamon bao donut for trying them and a hand written note from Ana. It was a great personal touch! Would return when I’m in the area!

SO GOOD!! And we got a hand written note with a free dessert! We had bao in London and have been searching for one that compared, this place is by far the closest and was absolutely delicious, especially the fried shrimp and pork belly bao!
