Plenty Chinese

Photos of Spicy Garlic Chicken that is 80% onions and sauce. Very disappointing. Same issue with the curry chicken and the orange chicken. Rice and egg drop soup was good. Plenty of other Chinese restaurants to pick from.

Some discrepancy on the reviews. From 1 to 5 stars. I wouldn't know anything about the service since I ordered thru door dash, so my rating is strictly on food. Food was ok. I've had better in the area. It wasn't horrible, nor great. Disappointed in the fried wonton, not having any protein in them, nor did it come with sauce. But they're one of few that provide special combos. The chicken were large pieces, the taste was good. Price was pretty good as well. For take out, they did not provide utensil. Luckily the hotel had some. I think 3 stars is fair.

It breaks my heart to see this place has a lower rating; It is delicious. Their egg rolls are THE absolute best, their portions are large, and their meat is very good quality. Plenty Chinese is by far the best Chinese restaurant I’ve found in Chicago and I LOVE Chinese food. I always order take out and it’s always arrived quickly and hot. I usually get the empress chicken, hot & sour soup, egg rolls LOTS of them, & pork lo mein. Cannot recommend this place enough.

I've gotten takeout from here several times and have never had a bad experience. The food is good, the portions are big, the prices are fair and they're VERY fast. I especially recommend the egg rolls, honey shrimp and garlic pork, but really everything I've had has been great.

I grew up in a Chinese restaurant and so I’m very picky when it comes to Chinese food. This has been my go-to for the past 6+ years we order almost weekly - leftovers are great for easy meals later in the week. Most dishes are great but there will be a couple meh ones occasionally no one’s perfect.

Have ordered here at least 10 times the past year---I love them! The food is consistently large-portioned, delicious and quickly delivered. My personal favorites are the soft, golden pot stickers, vegetable lo mein, sweet & sour chicken, and beef & broccoli.

Terrible old eggs rolls fried twice and passed off as fresh @ 5.50 per order. Always something with this place. 3 strikes, you're out. Never again

I Ordered food online through Door Dash and it took over an hour. when I called them they said that they had no record of my order and told me to call Door Dash. I checked my account and was charged 2x. I was on the phone with DoorDash for over 30 minutes. I will NEVER order from Plenty again.

The food is absolutely terrible, my husband is very picky with Chinese food but I thought I would give this place a shot because we live close by however it is absolutely total garbage I am sorry to use those words but they aren’t very friendly and I will not return

Above average flavors, fried rice was better than I've had at other Chinese restaurants, their XL serving for rice is enough for 4-5 people, orange chicken was nothing special but good too
