7pm on Thursday and the place is empty, but the food is still warm. Best time to go to a buffet is when no one else is going to a buffet!
Food was amazing and the price was very good. It was all you can eat and drink for $13 plus taxes!
we LOVE new china buffet. our special needs child, bonnie, was accommodated perfectly during our dining experience. we enjoyed a variety of substances. our personal favorite was the orange jello. prior to our visit my roommate and i had planned to donate our plasma for $100 and we went bc i was under the required weight limit. we never made it to our appointment but the experience changed us in way that will ensure riches unfathomable in the future. to my fellow diners, beware of the rubix cube scam.
As a big fan of Chinese food I'd say that this has become one of my favorites in my list. It hasn't not a large selection of dishes but each dish i tried had a special flavor.
So far so good. Not great curb appeal...However... After paying at entry you pick a clean table and lay down your receipt. Senior Discount. My tip is to listen for the distinctive bell and watch what comes fresh out of the kitchen. Typical serve yourself buffet. They had baked Tilapia and Salmon that was superb. Many meat, seafood and "Chinese food " offerings, meats, rice, noodle and traditional dishes. Pizza, butterflied shrimp and some spicy items... I liked their chicken on a stick, orange& teriyaki chicken and buffalo wings. No celery or blue cheese dressing... A couple of types of soups are usually offered...Tasty PepsiCo beverage offerings including, good ol' Mountain Dew! Hot tea and coffee round out the offerings. Dessert is usually a few choices of pastry, cream puff, pudding, fruit, cookies and so-so "ice cream". What I appreciate is a buffet that has a good turnover of choices. From 11-3pm and 5 on the weekends, plenty of fresh hot pans are swapped into the steam tables. Menu hadn't varied much over my visits in 2020 and prior, but there are noticeably reduced choices in 2021. Beverages are ok and self serve. Desserts are not large but varied and tasty enough. Please tip your steam table/waitress/bussers. They work hard...Please, please supervise your kids when they serve themselves, just a fellow patron asking. Some tables are sloping down so Choose Wisely! Accessible if tables with chairs are used, booths are not... Bathrooms are fair with a grade of C-. Definitely needed updating. Parking lot on west has plenty of spaces...
Don’t judge a book by its cover. The buffet was $14. Judging by the outside and tattered sign my hopes were not high to say the least. As I entered the gentleman at the register was welcoming and humorous. The inside was taken care of much better than the outside. The staff inside was very polite. The food was actually really good for being a buffet. I heard over four plates of food and feel that I definitely got my moneys worth. I had tasted almost everything they had to offer and also a few large portions of oysters. I can happily say that that night the next day and the next few days there was no stomach illness which one would typically expect from cheap seafood buffet. Overall an awesome experience and I would go back again and again.
Good food, friendly people good price it's kinda not kept well inside, couches tourn, and stuff like that but hey for the price and variety of food it's great
The food was decent, some food was too sweet when it doesn't really have to be but it was still good and I liked that we can sit anywhere. What I found extremely uncomfortable was being watched by the staff there while eating like nonstop. She even came by the table to add more napkins to our napkin holder or whatever it's called and it was beyond stuffed, it wasn't even necessary to do that. I hate being watched while eating and that's pretty much what happened here. She even said bye when we weren't even planning on leaving yet as if she wanted us out already even tho that place had a ton more empty seats. I took a pic of her watching us lmfao like what the hell she looks super creepy.
Modest but nice selection of food. Very clean, nice and fresh. They don't keep a lot of food out but that's a good thing, nobody wants 3 hour old food! I'd rather wait 5-10 minutes for them to put out something fresh. The only downside is the sauces are all way too sweet. The jalapeno chicken was quite literally candied, the cherry sauce was like something you put on a cheesecake. Sadly all the sauces were like this of the 4 or 5 meat options available. So there wasn't really a great meat option for me other than the chicken on a stick which had no sauce at all. If you like very sweet meats, then this place is perfect. But if you like savory, there might be better options going elsewhere.
The food is good. Some dishes are more delicious than others. The food items don't change and are basically the same throughout the day and everyday. Waitresses pick up the empty/dirty plates quickly and often. Definitely busy during the weekend and during the eveningDine in: YesOutdoor seating: NoTakeout: YesDelivery: NoCurbside pickup: No
