The Best Perch dinner around. 2nd choice is their Ribs. Great atmosphere. Best place in Oscoda for dinner. Are you tired of fast food and plastic silverware? Come and eat at tait's, tablecloths and silverware, casual dress what a spectacular place to eat.

Great food as always. Love the waitstaff and atmosphere. The bread and butter are AMAZING! I always take some home with me.

Very friendly. Good food. Good prices. Formal and bar dining available. Has a nice local feel. This is one of those places where they bring over little extras, like they gave us free vanilla cream desert cups (very good) and the server cut up some watermelon for the kids.

It was good, fine enough. I ordered the lake Perch and my wife got the steak. The steak was delicious, but a little over done. I got the special soup they have, I forget the name, but it's bean soup mixed with cheese soup, it's really good, I like it a lot. My wife got the lobster bisque which was also excellent, but a little rich to eat a whole bowl of so I'm glad we got a cup. My Perch was overcooked, just a bit too dry and flavorless. The decor is very dated, and the hairdo of our waitress was interesting to say​ the least. Also it was a bit overpriced for what it is I think. Is it good? Yeah. Is it 5 star good like it's priced? In my opinion, not quite. I'd still come again, it's good don't get me wrong, but it's not what I expected and I think they could do with some updating of the building, and reworking the employee handbook.
