Mama's Country Kitchen

My family & I where first timers here today & have recently moved up north. The staff was amazing, they made us feel welcome & right at home. The food was great!! If I have any complaints it would be the prices of some things are a little high & it was cold in there however our waitress did offer us a warmer seat away from all windows... highly recommend this place & will definitely be back!

Mammas kitchen is on u.s. 23 towards the south end of oscoda. It's a very nice family restaurant and features daily specials. The staff are very nice and pleasant. It's only downside to us us that it's always chilly inside. Many people are forced to wear their winter coats inside. I suggest to them that they raise their thermostat.

I came for breakfast and ordered the Belgian waffle with strawberries, sausage and a side of hash browns. Sub par to say the least. Driest waffle, wettest hash browns and rubberiest sausage I've ever eaten. Sent the hash browns back and told them to take it off my order. On the plus side, the staff is friendly and welcoming.

Great place for comfort food, you'll love it. Good wait staff and clean place.
