The gym is located right across from High Park, it's a great location very close to Bloor West Village. The trainers here are second to none, a few even compete professionaly, several you can tell are into functional fitness, others are power lifters who can move a lot of weight.
The gym is generally tidy (But obviously if members aren't helping, it can get a bit messy). It has a HUGE selection of machines/free weights, and a room with exclusive power/squat racks which makes a huge difference especially during peak hours. I tried a few other gyms but couldn't find squat racks available, System has like 5 or 6 available. I recommend my new patients there (I help manage a dental office) because it's located ideally and definitely a space to check out.

I have been a member since 2001. I have had nothing but a great experience, from working out, personal training, or dealing with the friendly front staff. It is a very warm inviting and non-intimidating neighbourhood gym. I also like the many classes and variety of health services provided. System fitness has been a fun place to work out, and have made many friends from there.

After an athletic injury, I wanted to improve my strength in a controlled, targeted way so that I could get back to the sports I love while gaining back my confidence in my body after the injury. I emailed in about my goals and was given an appointment with Adriana Renton for a free personal training consultation. I knew by the end of that free hour that I wanted to work with her; she was the perfect balance of tough love and understanding of my injury-related limitations, and it was very obvious that she was extremely knowledgeable when it came to the science behind what my body could and could not do. After two months of working with her, I have only the highest of praise for her attentiveness, ability to customize workouts, and her brilliantly positive attitude. She gave me back my body and made me feel strong and capable again, and helped to target areas most in need of attention, but she also infused me with a positivity and self-confidence that went above and beyond the mere physical. I would recommend her without hesitation to anybody who wants a smart, driven, professional, and friendly trainer who will kick your butt and still somehow leave you smiling and ready to face the day with a strut in your step.

System Fitness is my go to gym! The location is great. Walk-able distance right between Runnymede and High Park Station. Being a regular, I have met several workout partners that are just as dedicated as I am and we pump each other up. There is truly a great mix of people of all ages! it is definitely my go-to gym when I am home from university.

Trainers are extremely knowledgeable and attractive... Great gym! Lots of equipment and tonnes of free weights and squat racks.
