The best sports consignment store I've been to! The staff are super friendly, pricing is reasonable, and there are new items all the time. Definitely worth a visit when in Canmore. Also earns points for being dog-friendly.

Make sure you fully check the gear before you purchase anything. I got a DC jacket and was a bit nervous about buying it as it was quite expensive. Checked to make sure it was in good condition and then went riding 1 day in lake Louise and the pocket zipper broke, the actually zipper started to come out and the seam on the side of the jacket started coming undone. I know it's second hand but for the amount I paid for it I thought it would have last longer then 1 day

They do have a lot of stuff in all sizes. Some is really cheap and it seems like they also sell give-aways/merch from local/regional businesses. They often get brand-new demo or sample clothing which are still on the high end of the price range. But occasionally, you will find a high-quality item in great shape for a good deal. I like to stop by when in town, and with high expectations for my outdoor gear, about 2/10 times I find something really worth the small stop. If you're not that picky, you'll be even luckier.

Have lots of stuff but didn't find the staff very helpful or friendly! The one lady (tall, blonde) was super helpful and friendly but didn't have the answer to our question so referred us to her co worker. He was not friendly and didn't seem keen to answer questions. We didn't buy anything and sadly won't be returning because that was our second time trying to ask him some questions and got the same vibe both times

Strike out! I overlook a couple of bad experiences with a shop but this is the third bad experience in the last 3 weeks. I called the store a few days before Xmas because I needed 2 pairs of Microspikes and the Australian Lad said "No" they don't have any Microspikes but they have Crampons for climbing so I didn't go in. Then my husband buys me Microspikes for Xmas and I ask him where he got them and he says Switching Gear. And I'm like "What?" I called them and they said they didn't have any. Btw it says "Microspikes" right on the box so I don't know how this could be confusing in any way. My husband said they have dozens of pairs but also mentioned that an Australian Lad in the store was pretty busy chatting with a fellow employee and so hubby had to wait until a third employee came up to help him. Last but not least, hubby had to exchange the pair of Microspikes because they were too small and he gets the once over by the girl even though the spikes clearly hadn't even been taken out of the bag. Aargh! Such a drag to have a sports store around the corner for our needs but never wanting to go back!!
