Since our doors first opened in 1954, Canadian families have been coming back to Swiss Chalet generation after generation. Our rotisserie ovens only accept fresh (never frozen), grain-fed, Canadian Grade A chickens, because quality is all we know. So what will it be? A Quarter Chicken with fries?

My husband and I got crippling food poisoning from this location last year. We reported them to Peel Public Health, and they were investigated. We both had the exact same meals, and the food poisoning kicked in a few hours later. We were both riddled with a fever, vomiting, and diarrhea. We were perfectly fine prior to eating here, and were/are otherwise healthy adults. We had to take weeks off of work because of it. This location should be shut down. If you must have Swiss Chalet, AVOID THIS LOCATION AT ALL COSTS.

Ordered a couples of times using their drive thru and the past couple of times they have disappointed. They take incredibly long with my order and always forget things such as utensils even though we remind them when we placed our order. Very disappointed.

Ordered here all the time never ever had a problem with them until today.
Ordered food and the delivery driver came but I did not realize until I saw his missed call from him which was approx 1min after. I tried calling back but he did not answer. I called the restaurant and they said they would contact him immediately to come right back.  I waited an extra 30 mins and he did not return as of yet. I called the restaurant again and the manager told me I’d have to wait another 40 mins on top of the 1.5 hr wait because I did not answer the door in time. So I asked the manager if I’d get new food. since I’ll be waiting over 2 hours for the original one and he said no and if I’d want new fresh food I would have to wait and additional 1.5 hrs. Which was ridiculous. So I asked him to cancel it and before I could finish my sentence,  he yelled “fine” and hung up the phone on me.
Absolutely worst customer service ever!

This location used to be my favourite until the last couple times I've gone it takes forever to get service here and the servers look lost most of the time I don't think they are properly trained or lack common sense completely every time I am here they never give napkins you literally have to ask for napkins in a restaurant oh and also cutlery because they forget we need those to eat with. Please get new servers that are at least over 16 because this place is rapidly declining.

You can never go wrong with rotisserie chicken and comfort food at Swiss Chalet. This is a modern location and usually has fast service. The coconut cream pie is probably it's best keep secret!
