Since our doors first opened in 1954, Canadian families have been coming back to Swiss Chalet generation after generation. Our rotisserie ovens only accept fresh (never frozen), grain-fed, Canadian Grade A chickens, because quality is all we know. So what will it be? A Quarter Chicken with fries?

When I tell you guys this is the best Swiss Chalet in Nova Scotia, it really is. I believe it’s family owned, with amazing service. Judy is an excellent waitress who is always super friendly and quick! Their food is always perfect, fast, you don’t wait 45 minutes for your food or your bill, it’s never too packed, and in a great area with shopping malls and a superstore. 10/10!!
There were 7 people in our party and we were celebrating a birthday. Our server was super friendly and accurate. Service was quick. All the food was hot and delicious. Chicken was tender and juicy. Ribs were meaty and fell off the bone. Poutine was incredible. Overall extremely pleased with this meal!
I recently had the pleasure of dining at a Swiss Chalet where I ordered the half chicken, accompanied by a fresh Caesar salad. The flavors were exceptional, with the chicken perfectly cooked and seasoned, making each bite a joy. The Caesar salad was crisp and well-balanced, with just the right amount of dressing. My entire family thoroughly enjoyed their meals as well, making it a memorable dining experience for all of us.
Even though we came in late in the evening they made sure we had time to eat. The food was excellent. The Staff was better.nWe left less than 5 minutes after closingnThank you for serving us so late.
