SweetPea Cakes

I’m so disappointed with my experience here. The photos on their website show beautiful cupcakes and the ones in store are average supermarket looking ones. I had it at room temperature as directed, but it was dry, dense, had a hard edge, and the frosting was chalky. It was cherry frosting but tasted more medicinal. I went to the local Jewel afterward and found bigger, better tasting cupcakes for a lower price.

My wife and I are no strangers to cupcakes. We purchased 4 different cupcakes to try. They were all dry and tasted terrible. The frosting, they claim to be buttercream, literally cracked off into pieces and fell off the cupcake. These cupcakes did not have anything good about them. The cake was hard and dry, and the frosting was flavorless and brittle. I agree with the other post that said grocery store pastries blow this place out of the water. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Save your $$$.

They are wonderful! Always able to accommodate our allergies and make specialty cakes & cupcakes. Wish they had more vegan & dairy free options always available (not just special order) but it's nice that they can accommodate for those allergens via special order. We've ordered for several special occasions & everyone loves the flavors of their cakes or cupcakes. They are also amazing artists! They can reproduce any picture you send them.
