Enjoyed coming here. Wait staff was extremely friendly and the food was really good. The cinnamon roll pancakes were phenomenal, really cool twist on pancakes. The biscuits and gravy had a bit of a kick to them, wouldn’t get this if you’re sensitive to spice. Everything was very fairly priced, will definitely come back again!

My hubby wanted to take me to breakfast here for my birthday yesterday morning and I'm so glad he did! The food here is delicious and very reasonably priced. This is a lovely cozy spot for breakfast. Absolutely get the fresh made lemonade and the apple spice pancakes with sausage patties. So good!

Came here on a Saturday morning and there was a short wait. The person at front was very friendly and would let people know who was next each time she brought someone inside or let folks know how much longer. The decor is what you expect from a breakfast place. It was quaint and made me feel like i was eating at grandma's. Service was nice and always kept my cup of coffee full. The food was excellent! I'm usually a savory person, but couldn't resist ordering the cinnamon roll pancakes. My wife ordered the French toast

I'd love for this place to be my secret spot, but I want everyone to know how good it is. Every time we go back to Chicago, we try to hit up Sweet Maple for breakfast. Something about the Midwest with their kindness and friendliness that just enhances your food and this place gives you helpings of that. While I love their coffee here, the pancakes are where it'd at. So large and soft like eating a pillow in my mouth, haha. On this special day, like the photo of their chalkboard special I added shows, they were serving their CINNAMON ROLL PANCAKES . OMG people, if there is anything to get there you MUST get this if they have it. They nailed it. Taste of a cinnamon roll on a soft pancake. Like Christmas for your mouth. Their omelets and hash and other dishes are quite good, but man oh man that pancake... Do yourself a favor and go here

We ordered the Country Scrambles. I got the Carmen G which came with bacon, spinach, mushrooms and cheese with home fries abd a biscuit. The meal was good bit I like my eggs softer and the biscuit wasn't bad but could have used more butter to help with the flavor. My husband got The Toss Up Scramble with ham, chorizo, Chicken and spinach. He also got the Slacker Fries which are home fries with corned beef, onions and cheese and a cinnamon roll pancake which was excellent. The service was great. Everyone was really nice. The place is old so there is no ambiance but if you're looking for really good breakfast you won't be disappointed.

It’s been so long since we sat down and enjoyed breakfast at Sweet Maple. It was one of our favourites before Covid and we ordered take-out during Covid so was excited to dine in again. The indoor seating area has been reduced from before with a section being used to manage the take-out orders. Looks like they built out a patio that will be nice during warmer weather. Back to the food! As usually everything tasted so delicious. We also got a side order of the pancake since it’s one of the best around. Beyond the delicious food, the owner and staff make you feel welcome. How many restaurants have the owner still working and seating you at your table and apologising for the long wait? Really appreciate small business owners and the dedication they put into their business!

First time attending, greeted by the window and was asked for a covid card... I ordered to go as I did not have one at the time. Coffee and a breakfast combo, cheesy eggs were very fluffy with a side old crispy bacon, yummy! Potatoes were a golden brown, needed a bit of salt I thought. My toast never maded into my bag unfortunately, will have to return for lunch items..worth the wait. In town for work and decided to take a walk to find some breakfast. They have a great menu and we were not disappointed! Try the custom hash browns. They were soooo good. We had a couple of Cafe Mochas and they were amazing. You can’t go wrong with this establishment! Street parking available.

We are in Chicago for a festival and came here for breakfast befor going. We went on a Friday morning around 9am no wait street parking for 2.50 a hr and free on Sundays The food was good but nothing crazy. I got loaded potatoes with biscuits n gravyy my girl got cinnamon roll pancakes and coffee all good just not enough to come back Very friendly and attentive staff The dinning area looks very rough and needs a few coats of paint or something. old table, chairs, table cloth ect You will need a covid card if you want to dine in

My weekend in Chicago was nothing but good food. We sat outside for breakfast. You can seat yourself, but you have to order at the window. No separate checks, no dine-in. The food was excellent. The staff was super nice!
