I've been coming to this location for years as they always have a great selection of products at reasonable prices. Compared to the new location, I prefer this one because of the excellent customer service. At the new location, it sometimes feels like I'm being pressured to buy things, but here, the staff genuinely seem to care about helping customers. Specifically, I've had the pleasure of speaking with the cashier Joomy a few times now, and she's always incredibly friendly and helpful. The last time I went in, she went above and beyond to help me find a specific sweater I was looking for and she even recommended tieless shoelaces for my son when I mentioned how challenging it's been to find slip-on shoes for his age. Overall, the staff here are competent, knowledgeable, and always happy to assist. One of the gentlemen with braids helped me grab a couple shoes from the back but I didn’t catch his name.
I was given a credit due to a stolen package, when I went to use the credit I was unable to receive a promotional sale for boxing Day 20% off. Augusta told me that I had used a discount code which I did not and said that there is no way to reverse it. In the end I lost $30 in promotional discount, will not show up here again.
This is going to sound like an exaggeration, but it's based on my recent experience picking up an online order - the way customers are treated like potential shoplifters is over the top.nI went to pick up an online order i.e. already paid. I had ordered multiple pairs of shoes in different sizes of the same style and tried them on at the store's designated fitting area for online orders—a bench by the exit. I kept the pair that fit me and returned the rest in this same visit. This type of order can't possibly be new to the store?nThroughout the entire process, the staff hovered around me as if I might dash out? With items I already purchased? It was a perplexing experience. I would suggest moving the fitting area to another area that's not so high traffic, with customers constantly exiting.nnFantastic deals? Yes.nCustomer services? felt more akin to security guards rather than assistance. Although Francesca and other staff on the floor were friendly and helpful.nWould I return? hesitant to return after this shopping experience.
It smelled like body odour the moment I walked in. The stench was so bad I had to leave the store. Employees need better hygiene practices while at work. As a customer I shouldn’t want to leave the store due to odour!
Smaller store compared to other SVPs. Rarely has our sizes in stock. We have gone twice now and have walked out empty handed to head to another SVP instead. Staff are nice but yes, it is frustrating to spend time narrowing down the choice in shoe, to then be told they don't have size options for you. They need larger stock.
