Sushi Wa

This is a great sushi restaurant. The salmon was fresh and tasted great. The portions were good. The flavour of the spicy salmon was good. Miso soup was an average miso soup, I care more about the sushi quality anyways when I'm at a sushi restaurant. I will come back to try the tuna and other options next. The place itself is a bit small and needs more ventilation, and that is my biggest complaint which isn't much of a negative. If you drink green tea, you have to ask for it, and we were given just a cup and not a pot until we asked for a pot. Come eat here if you live at all nearby

We love this place! Thank you, guys! The best Japanese restaurant in our neighbourhood for sure. We always have ordered take-out, and today, we got amazed at how nice the food can look. We love spicy crispy. We came late at 8:50 pm, right before closing, but got a chance to eat.

My first time trying sushi and I'm glad I had it from here! I ordered the Crispy Spicy Salmon special roll and Chicken Katsu Bento from the lunch specials. Both were delicious and the plating was beautiful! I will definitely come back to try out other items from the menu. The lady serving us was really friendly and patient had a hard time deciding what to try . My friends and I had an amazing time.

I am so surprised by how good and fresh the sushi was, I have been in that plaza so many times but never noticed the place. Went for lunch and had a family boat for two, it starts with extremely delicious miso soup and edamame..for starters we got yam tempura since I am allergic to shrimp, it was surprisingly tasty. You also get seaweed salad and a pop each. For the mains you get two rolls and an assortment of sashimi and nigiri, all of which are the chef's choice. You also get an option of bulgogi or teriyaki beef/ chicken..went for teriyaki beef which was tender and flavorful. Overall the meal was filling and delicious. Will recommend the spicy tuna roll and the salmon nigiri. Definitely going to visit again!

Had the meal for 2, for the 4 of us 2 adults+2 kids which was pretty good value. Added a chicken karaage as an appetiser. Thought it was a bit short on salt and flavour but it was also my first time here, so wasn't sure what to expect. The miso soup was fantastic, ditto with the seaweed salad along with a bowl of edamame. Along with a 'boat'load of sushis and chicken teriyaki, it was quite a mouthful even for the 4 of us. The rolled sushis were fantastic and full of flavour, the sashimi and nigiri felt a bit flat. But I'm not a sushi connoisseur so take that with a grain of salt. Would go back to try the other bits in the menu for sure

Service and food are great. The sushi is fresh and well made. The ratio of fish to rice is perfect, only a small amount of rice for each piece of sushi with a generous portion of fish. Staff is friendly and accomdating. Will definitely return.

Pleasantly surprised as we stumbled across this place accidentally. Food was fresh and portions were huge!!! Fresh and made to order, full of flavour and made to perfection, this restaurant is truly a hidden gem. Staff are exceptionally friendly and genuine. We really enjoyed the entire experience.

What a lovely spot. Came here and had a wonderful experience. The waitress was so friendly and nice. She answered all our questions with a friendly tone. The food was very fresh and tastey. The presentation of the food was also very nice! Made the experience even better. Would recommend trying it out for sure. They offer take-out and indoor dinning. The place was also very clean and well temperatured. Will be back for sure before summer ends and will be doing take-out also. They do not offer all you can eat however. Hoping they can add that as an option later down the line.

Great presentation, little bit pricy but worth to that price. ordered the sashimi plater, fresh, good quality and have different varieties in the sashimi plater. Kiss of angel is a great roll, they have scallops, tuna, salmon, fish row, worth to try, definitely will repeat and way better than the tuna roll that I ordered, because it is like any other place. Satisfaction dinner !

Volcano sushi was probably one of the best I have ever tried! The restaurant was very cozy with the nicest people
