May Sushi & Poke

The restaurant is new in town and has a nice design, very classy, not in theme with the specific of the restaurant. Nothing from the design say is a sushi restaurant. The food was not bad, but not outstanding either, maybe the quality is acceptable for this small town. The rolls we ordered had a tons of sos on them, and you could not feel the taste of the fish. The staff was horrible, I have never seen so much incompetency. We were the only ones in the restaurant, it took the waiter 30 min to serve us. In fact someone form the kitchen came and got our order because the waiter girl was new. This other lady asked us what we want to order but her pen run out of ink, so she needed to remember everything. She only brought us half of what we ordered, the rest of the things she brought were wrong. Like she brought us 2 Hugo instead of 2 gin tonics, 3 big platous instead of 2. Forgot the other drinks. And she wasn't nice at all. She got angry every time we provided feedback. At some point the music stoped and we had to ask them to turn it back on. Of course it was a major efort for them. We felt very unwelcomed, the experience was awful and the staff was frosty AF. You better save you money for a restaurant with a better service.

Decent food, well behaved staff but a bad vibe all around the premesis. When me and my friends stopped by from our long journey through Europe we all started crying out of nowhere and as soon as we paid and left the place we stopped feeling sad. There's an unexplainable negativity in there, though i kind of enjoyed the time there and my friends agree too.

The owner is very rude, I go there quite often and I had the chance to be served by the owner herself. She was not polite and acted like it was an incovinience that we where there, totally ruines the mood but the food is fine.

Delicious sushi, fresh ingredients. The restaurant is classy and cozy. The stuff is friendly.

I had the luck to travel around the world and I can tell that Mai Sushi is in my top 5 worldwide locations. From the quality and taste to the ambient of the place. Highly recommend!

No cutlery or sticks, no soy sauce, ginger or wasabi. All of these were also not specified
