We often went here for years when it was still Hockey Sushi but it was our first time back since it became Story Sushi. The service was still fast and food still tasted great! Portions seem smaller but it just meant you can eat more! We liked it that way because you can try different things at the right portion. Best AYCE in thornhill! I highly recommend this restaurant, they are among one of the few with a reasonable ayce price. Definitely your money’s worth.
Sushi and other food are all good quality and delicious. We go through the menu, not all you can eat tablets and I think it's pricy, and it's better to try all you can tablets.Food: 5/5
Go to place with my friends for all you can eat. Love the sashimi Especially the squid! So good!
Good local place for sushi. Our go to based on location. Enjoy the green dragon and dynamite rolls. Edamame and tempura for appetizers are also a favourite. Usually we take out with their simple online ordering tool, however we have eaten in on occasion for all you can eat. Both experiences have been positive.Recommended dishesEdamame, Dragon Roll Dynamite Roll Tobiko Roll, Roll
Friendly staff and good food just I noticed portions smaller than beforeFood: 4/5
I've been to this location numerous times and it seems the management has changed as well. It used to be Hockey Sushi before it was called Story sushi. The food was mediocre. We ordered almost everything off the menu. Staff were very polite and friendly. The restaurant is kind of tight but is baby friendly. The washroom is downstairs and is pretty creepy.
I used to come here for many years when it was Hockey Sushi, it was great, but now the service is non-existent, the servers dont say a word while serving you and bringing the food. They treat you like pigs came to eat, it's gone so much down. They just slide plates on your table with no words, and they will lecture you if you left some rice you didn't eat because they say people in some countries are starving! This place needs to learn some ethics in customer service and dont treat customers like animals came to eat, literally!
Got take out tray in this restaurant for the first time. NEVER again. All rolls were filled with loads of tampura crumbs.Food: 1/5
Was there for lunch - love the place. Great fish to rice ratio in the rolls, fish tasted fresh, tempura was fantastic. Super hot, crispy and yummy. Teriyaki items are great too. My only complaint is no galbi on the lunch menu - this may contribute to the cheaper price though compared to other AYCE places. Recommended.
Been going there since Hockey Sushi days. The quality is always amazing and superb. Service is top notch.
