Sushi Star

Best sushi in NDG and maybe all of Montreal!. This is by far the freshest, yummiest sushi I've tried in Montreal since moving here three years ago. The owners are lovely too! Would highly recommend giving this place a try rather than supporting the chain restaurants nearby. Prices are reasonable too.

Sushi star is such an awesome place. The owners are so sweet and welcoming, not to mention the food is awesome and worth the price. I bought some sushi and wanted to buy a fortune cookie and the owner said I could have it for free very sweet of him. My sushi was also made quickly! Loved it and I'm definitely going back!

I ordered 12 pieces to go. I didn't look in the bag which was a mistake. It contained very little sushi! Few cucumbers, crab and very tiny pieces of salmon. Paid $23 plus tips! Not worth it! I ordered at this place twice and it was the same both times. Very disappointing.

Got a quick bite for lunch and the sushi was all right. I like to support mom and pop business over the big chain. I like family run service style which they offer.

Sushi Star is to this day, my favourite sushi shop in Montreal. Been coming back here since 2010! It's a wonderful family owned business and I can't recommend their food and service enough. Genuine 10/10

Best sushi on Monkland! Great service! We order large party platters from them every year it’s always a huge hit- much better than the chain across the street!
