Sushi Nova

We just randomly picked a sushi place to go on West 4th Ave. Surprised my family for their food and service. The place is clean, neat and tables distance is just right. I have ordered the chef's special 'Tokyo ' and a lunch set. They will included couple combinations of food and that is great. Sashimi was fresh and every single dish made so good. It costs us $15/ head before tax and it's a reasonable price. My little one is very picky on food and he asked me to come again even when we still in the restaurant. I will definitely come back. ***I have eaten some of them before I took the pictures.

Solid sushi spot in Kits, not super special but they do the classic rolls well and have some unique menu items too. The ambience is pleasant and they have a separate take-out window which is convenient. A nice local spot! We normally get the Party Tray A $36.50 for 2 people — it has a great selection of rolls, and is good value for the amount of food we get

Food was very good, and prices are fair. The combos, and chefs special sets are the best in the menu, great quantity, quality and price. The chicken karrage is a most. They are extremely good. The veggie combo is fairly big and good! Vegetarian options: There are a lot of options in different parts of the menu appetizers, sales, rolls, teriyaki. Definitely a place to go if you're vegetarian, as well as vegan.

We wanted to try this modern take on sushi. The menu did offer items not found at the usual sushi places. Polite, professional service. Kept our tea and water glasses full. Our spicy chicken karage, Voltex roll and Rocky mountain roll were all well prepared and artfully presented. A clean, safe dining. experience.

We came to this place for a Sunday lunch. The ambience was really good . They have good lunch special menu at affordable price. We tried their chicken teriyaki teishoku platter which comes with chicken teriyaki, california roll, one agedashi tofu, salads, tempura , miso soup and ebi sunomono priced at 15.95$. We also got a classic dynamite roll at ~6$. The food was amazing and good enough for 2 people. I will try to visit this place again in future for trying the other cuisines.

The prawn tempura is a MUST. Perfectly fried, crispy to perfection! Staff is friendly, good is tasty, resos are recommended. A hot spot!

The high google reviews got me good The food tasted mid tier but was priced as top tier. I tried their voltex and yummy yummy rolls total $30 and left hungry enough for a second meal at Suika. I also tried one of my friend's karaages since another review mentioned how great they were, but it ended up being one of the driest karaages I've ever had. Apparently their sashimi and nigiri is not bad tho. I'd only recommend this place if you're down bad for sushi.

Sashimi and sushi rolls were so good! Fish was fresh. Rolls were large but not too large and well filled. We had to ask for tea refills a few times but otherwise service was good.

WOW. Visiting from Toronto and some friends and I decided to check out this spot based on reviews and proximity to our Airbnb. We sat down and the menu blew us away. We got the Nova Special Bento and got 1 other roll on the side, which I shared with my wife. It is MORE than enough to share for 2 people. The portions, variety of sushi, and service were SO amazing. We will definitely be back, thank you so much!!! Ps. Get the matcha ice cream no matter how full you are : it’s also good for two, thanks me later!

Five stars for the staff. Avocado maki was pretty filled and generous though only came in six pieces. Caterpillar roll had too much unagi sauce and I didn’t ask for any sauce. The unagi inside the avocado rolls were mostly fat and fish skin.
