Never disappoints! Super . I highly recommend Takoyaki/ Salmon Blossom/ Alaska roll. All sauces was so terrific and tasty. I didn’t leave any food even vegetable decoration. Staffs was so friendly and helpful. She gave me a cup of water when she saw i was drinking my own medicine after my meal. How is amazing staff! Vote 10 stars for staff I definitely come back with my family again!
Very good Japanese restaurant. The sushi is prepared fresh and tasted very good. Cooked dishes were tasty, though the Katsu entree was a bit dry. Service friendly and attentive. Pricing is a very good value, especially these days. The place is busy with lots of takeout orders and some dine in. Parking is scarce, though there is some additional parking in the back and along the street farther along.
Came here with a friend on a Thursday evening for dinner and it was quite busy. Got a seat after 20 minutes of waiting so that wasn't too bad. We ordered the soft shell crab, a miso soup, salmon blossom, Mura special and on cloud 9 roll. Salmon blossom and Mura special was probably our favorite rolls. The rolls tasted nice and fresh though not a fan of how much sauce was covering the rolls. Most disappointing dish was the soft shell crab. The crab was a bit on the soggy side and there was just too much batter on it. The batter was practically falling off, I had to remove it. Overall, not a bad sushi place as there was quite of variety in terms of menu options. Parking: Within a small plaza there's limited parking but also parking on the side street.
The sushi was really fresh tasting and decent sizes. I enjoyed the food a lot. Go early or make a reservation. The restaurant seating is a bit cozy. There could be long waits and parking is extremely limited. Best option is street parking. Parking: Plaza parking is extremely limited. Street parking is probably the best option.
Their sushi rice tastes perfect! Very fresh and clean tasting everything. Had the tai, amaebi, and scallop nigiri. All of it was fresh and delicious. The wild salmon roll was good too. I have seen prettier and neater sushi though. However, for taste and price, this place is great!
Unfortunately this was a major letdown after quite a hype from prior reviews. We made a late night stop around 45 minutes prior to closing time, but even still, the service and quality really showed. The sushi was not constructed well and flopping over as well as the roll fillings falling out everywhere making it real difficult to eat. We also ordered Miso Soups which never arrived, a Dynamite Combo which was confused as an Ebi Roll and Salmon Nigiri which was confused with Saba Nigiri. Not the end of the world, but slightly frustrating and confusing. The sushi itself was pretty yummy, slightly smaller portions and not the best presentation and structure but tasty in flavor. I did really love their Wasabi paste which was really yummy and tasted very fresh. Edamame is very fresh and great portion with lemon wedge. One thing for sure, they honestly need to change the music.. its the weirdest and worst choice of music listening to high tempo eletronic discotech tunes when trying to eat sushi and feels more like a nightclub. Otherwise, a nice eatery joint in a clean, minimalistic and modern setting. Also note, they do not have brown rice alternatives. Support local businesses!
Snowy village was ok, tempura flakes were slightly hard and not crispy, prepare for mess when eating. House roll is 6pcs, I ate 2 before remembering to taking the picture . House roll is good, too much cucumber for my liking though. Maybe a bit more salmon and tuna. Total 2 items 24.39. Staff service is very good and attentive.
Generous portions of dishes with fresh ingredients & tasty sauces. i took the pic after taking trying the first pieces Efficient & friendly service. Perfect for days when you feel hungry. Will be back again for my sushi feast!
Lovely place for sushi! Had a big group of 9 and ordered 4 rollsx2 and tempurax2 for appies! Orders came in fast and were all so tasty and fresh! Got the spicy sashimi, snowy village, volcano and cherry blossom rolls! Really quite surprised by the quality, portion and price of the dishes! We paid around $20 each! Great and fast service and presentation looked amazing! Couldn’t ask for better! Will definitely go again and bring my friends there Make sure you make your reservations as well, highly recommend!
When you’re so hungry and you were seated at the peak of lunch, food served in less than 10 minutes, staff were very friendly, clean bathrooms, yummy vegetarian options and food served hot those are a huge score for me and my husband on efficiency, and customer service satisfaction! Highly recommend this place found at the busy streets of Oak Street Vancouver!
