Service was wonderful , the ambiance was nice and relaxing and the best part , food was spectacular . We will definitely come here again .

This is probably my favourite sushi restaurant in town now, the quality is just astounding for what you get.

I hate to give this place a "fair" review. I love the owners, they are eager to please, and do a good job. I've been here a few times, the prices are a bit high, and the quality is good, but not amazing. Last visit I had a spicy tuna roll, the tuna seems to be in small pieces, almost like flakes instead of whole strips, which is a bit off-putting, in that it is quite squishy. The sauce was gelatinous, very slimy... hard to describe but it was very off-putting. Also found a bone in the fish, which appeared to be a cheek bone. Also, the atmosphere is not very nice. The food is not at all bad, certainly FAR from the worst sushi I've had.

Yep its another Sushi restaurant! They are not bad at all, they have all the stuff us westerners like plus all the more traditional sushi roles. I absolutely love the Sushi Chef, he makes jokes and always enjoys small talk. Service is fast and everything ive ever had from sushi1 has been fresh.

We went in and were completely blown away with the quality of the sushi and how reasonably priced it was! Hands down the best place for sushi in Vernon and I would put it against most places in larger cities. Definitely coming back next time I'm in Vernon!

Been eating there for over 13 years, amazing food, lovely service, wonderful ambience. 10 outta 10 for just a nice dinner or date night, price is fair a hidden gem in Vernon's downtown highly suggest it if you love japanese cuisine, seafood or are just passing through or a local.

Fantastic sushi. Ordered several rolls, nagiri, seaweed salad, sashimi and miso soup, and our group of 11 loved all of it. Very quick and friendly service and great atmosphere!

We ordered to go. $50 in sushi. They asked me to check my receipt to ensure it was my order and I did. Got home and the contents of the bag were NOT what was on the receipt I checked. I phoned twice and got voicemail so left a detailed message. They did not call me back. I then sent them a letter asking for a refund and they did not respond. The sushi was marginal but with service like that I wouldn't eat there if it was the only sushi place in town. Stunts like that in a small town have a huge impact on business and I steer everyone away from them. The sushi at the Tiki Hotel is fantastic and I'm now a committed customer of theirs. Cheers.
