Our food was ready by the promised time, but two of the items we ordered did not meet our quality expectations: the lemon chicken slices were thin and overcooked, while the stir fried chow mein tasted like it had too much soy sauce. The dumplings and the fried rice however, were good. The portions for all items were right for the price, in my opinion.
Gung hei fat Choy. Happy Chinese New Year. Lunch visit. Packed house and lots of take-out going out of this restaurant. Sign of good food. We ordered the hot and sour soup authentic- highly recommend, chicken fried rice good, cashew chicken gai ding excellent, garlic fried bok choy garlicky goodness, and the Szechuan shrimp mild dish but spicy and salty sauce and a cucumber cone good. HUGE portions. Fast service. Friendly waitresses. Most authentic Hong Kong Cantonese style Chinese food in Vernon. Open Sundays!!! Rare for anything to be open on Sunday in Vernon Vegetarian options: Tasty Kid-friendliness: Friendly waitress who will talk video games with your kids. Wheelchair accessibility: Wide corridor and one level restaurant.

We ordered the meal for 8 people and couldn't believe the amount of food we got. We all had lots of leftovers. Everything was absolutely delicious. We'll be back!
Popped in for a quick small meal to boost my energy while Christmas shopping. Caterpillar Roll was the best I’ve had, and I eat a lot of sushi and have lived in Japan. Miso soup was anything but basic full of seaweed, bits of kelp and fresh tofu. SO good! The server was excellent! Friendly but sincere, checked in at appropriate times and provided great advice. Decor was simple and relaxing, bathrooms were super clean and location was perfectly located in downtown Vernon. Will definitely be back again when I’m hungry as the portions of the bigger meals were so generous and I heard great feedback from those around me.
My wife and I had dinner there on a recommendation from a friend. We were not disappointed. Everything we ordered was fantastic and we ordered a lot of food. So much so that they pushed up another table so we could fit all the plates. The food was fresh and tasty and huge portions. The staff was so friendly. This is the best Chinese restaurant in Vernon by far.
As someone who grew up eating authentic Chinese food, I usually try to avoid the "Panda Express" westernized style of the cuisine. Nevertheless, my partner loves it and we stopped by while visiting from Vancouver. I was shocked by how delicious the food was. Everything was perfectly cooked, perfectly seasoned, and a generous portion. Staff were friendly and attentive. Ambience was great!
Best overall asian food in Vernon! Awesome table service with excellent happy people! FOOD barnone the Best!
