We have found Surge Medical to go above and beyond in customer service. We had purchased a chair from another local company and had terrible service. The chair needed repair after first use. The other company wanted to charge a minimum of $100 to fix it. Surge medical fixed it at no charge and it was not even purchased from them. The original chair did not work for the person it was bought for. We have purchased another chair from Surge Medical. They came and fitted our family member and made numerous fittings to make sure she received a chair that was both functional and comfortable. I am extremely happy with the customer service and follow up we received from Surge Medical. I would highly recommend them.

Recently, my wife had major surgery. Admitted on one day and discharged the following day. The condition for her discharge was that we have a hospital bed ready for her. Based on the information we received from Interior Health, the bed was to be delivered the day before she was admitted. However, it was not. In the afternoon of her admittance day, I was concerned because the bed had not arrived. I called Surg-Med who advised that they had just received the request that day but it did not indicate a patient discharge date. When I told them that my wife was to be discharged the following day they immediately arranged for the delivery. It was after hours-on a Friday. I am very appreciative for their quick, understanding response. Thank you to the staff at Kamloops Surg-Med.
