Rathtrevor Beach Provincial Park

One of the true jewels of Vancouver Island. Great beach to visit year round to watch nature and enjoy the views. We love the modern playgrounds and the well kept campground too. An amazing place to experience nature. We have had seals come within 10 feet of us at the beach!

We loved Rathtrevor Park. We spent five days there at the end of November. It was a bit damp, but it didn't stop us from enjoying the shoreline and the fantastic views. We followed the shoreline and river to Parksville one morning, hiked through the forest, and had a campfire every night. The park attendants were pleasant and helpful. Can't wait to go back again this summer!

A four seasons park, a favourite of the locals and visitors alike. I love the trail along the beachside and through the campground roads.

This is an amazing park for the whole family. It has fantastic sites, amenities, and beach. There is a great park for the kids with a cool bike park that's great for young riders. Be sure to check out the nature hut too. Of course the beach is unlike any other. It's so great for skim boarding, walking, biking or just hanging and playing in the sand. When the tide is in it is really warm and great to play in. Go check it out.
