Delicious and flaky empanadas. So fresh and such a great price too.

As a fellow baker, the empanadas are fantastic. Unfortunately they don't put raisins in their empanadas like most Filipinos prefer, but they do add some sugar to their dough for some sweetness. The dough is a flaky pastry with some puffy layers but not quite a puff pastry and there is no butter. They're likely using shortening or lard to achieve the texture, and it is by far the best part of their empanadas. The fillings are okay, you can't really go wrong with any of them. I didn't get the pork asada, but I will try that next time. Their hopia are a little dry, but again the pastry is the star. I recommend the ube or wintermelon ones!

Tried to buy empanadas on a Sunday driving all the way from Milton. I arrived before closing time in more then one occasion, only to find out they chose to close earlier than their posted store hours which is 9:30am to 4pm. I guess the hours are optional for them, as they choose to close whenever they please which is not a good way to run your business. If you are closed for the day kindly update your website or facebook page so we don’t end up driving for almost an hour to be met with disappointment. A waste of time and gas for my part. Will definitely look for another place to buy filipino style empanadas.

Was told this was the best place to get chicken empanadas as I received a dozen as a gift and was not disappointed in coming here to check it out with my mom! Got more than a dozen again of the chicken empanadas and some ube hopia to try! Was not disappointed! Super flaky crusts and a filling that's good though they don't use raisins, I'm fine with it! Definitely would come again to buy empanadas!

Delicious empanadas. All hand made and freshly baked. I cant wait to get more! Also the staff are very friendly and helpful.

Best empanadas. The dough is perfect. It’s reminiscent of pie crust, except the flakiest you'll find . Its flavour is the perfect sweetness to balance the savoury filling. If you've never had Filipino empanadas before, this is the one to try!

Really nice empanadas here. The pork empanadas have a nice flaky pastry and a perfect hint of sweetness. Great pricing as well. I’ll be back.

The empanada pastry was nice a flaky, but too sweet. The pork and chicken filling lacked flavour. I like the filling with a bit more texture and this was as more of a paste.

Love the empanadas here. I grew up eating them and it’s great to finally have a reliable place in the city that makes & sells them.
