We ordered a Cofee latte, i think would be better to have a little more milk, muffin was also good.
Really great coffee; and delicious pistachio croissant, and cannolis you know it’ll be good when they fill them to order. Same owners as the downtown location on college street, and excited they’ve opened up a spot on the west end.
Cute place but extremely slow service-waited almost 12 minutes before being acknowledged by the employee. Coffee was ok but the cup immediately broke and started leaking when I got to my car. The pizza was really good!
Coffee and ambience was good, but I came in because I wanted food and coffee. Coffee was $5 and a panini was $11, which would have come out to just over $18 with tax and the staff tried to charge me $30, even when pointed out the expensive total. Ended up just grabbing coffee.

Ordered a cortado and asked for 5oz but was given an 8oz which isnt a cortado by any means. Way too foamy and not silky. On top of that, the staff working that day was so disinterested, very unpleasant and clearly untrained as a barista.
I came here to study and have a light snack. I give this spot a 4.99/5 since nothing is ever perfect anywhere but I'll round up for the algorithm and because they deserve it. The staff are friendly, they deliver the food/drinks to your table, and clean up as they go. Although I've never been to Italy, this is what I imagine a modern Italian cafe would look like. The pepperoni pizza was hot, the espresso woke me up, and my iced coffee had just enough ice. Each table also has some hot chili oil which makes the whole experience even more authentic. Buon appetito!
I come here for the pizza. It's great. It tastes great and the price is great too. The crust on these pizzas is top tier.Food: 5/5
5 star for our Pizza and a light dessert for lunch. I have been wanting to come here for many months, wow I've wasted many months in my life not having the amazing Pizza and dessert these guys prepared! I'm so upset at myself! I felt like I was in Italy this café was very authentic feeling along with the owner and staff it felt like I stepped out of Canada and into Italy!
Came by for a coffee and stayed for delicious cocktails and authentic Italian thin crust pizza. Il Gatto Nero caffe has this true Italian vibe that makes you feel at home form the moment you walk in. Well-priced, considering that their food is premium quality. Planning to try their pizza delivery for a family dinner next week. I think we have found our new Etobicoke gem!
