Super 8 Ajax/Toronto On

Room was untidy. The pool temperature was too cool. Complementary breakfast ends at 10am. When traveling with young children having a longer breakfast time would have been nice. We had to eat breakfast elsewhere. On a good note the rooms were very sound proof.

The stuff was very professional and efficient. My room was big and generally clean although I could see a couple hairs on the toilet floor. Very comfortable mattress on my opinion, linen felt very fresh and clean, great amount of towels. Breakfast ended at 9 am so I couldn't enjoy it after having arrived late the night before.

Lost our resurvation, been coming here for the last 4 years, 2x per year had to pay a $200 deposit, never had to do that before. Was told at check in 5 pm pool was open, came down at 6 and it was closed for repair. Rooms are not clean, shower tiles dirty, rugs worn out and have bumps under rug. Stayed for two nights, pool still closed, bathroom supplies not replaced, bath tub not cleaned, garbage not emptied, breakfast not much there to eat, at 6:05 woffle irons not turned on. Going to leave guy on desk didn't even say have a great day. These people need to be a little more friendly! Won't be coming back!

Friday the 23 of September 2017. Girls hockey tournament was host in Oshawa. We choice to stay at super 8. What a big mistake that was. First front staff both women and both men were rude with the parents and 12-13 year old daughters. They would not let our team rent the meeting room to eat in, nor the 6 small tables in the front entrance breakfast area. So we resorted to tailgating and bbq in the parking lot. Second: the rooms where not clean what so ever. Hair stuck to the walls in the bathroom, blood stains on the carpet, furniture out dated, they stuck us in a suite, it was not a suite. End table had a microwave on it with a lamp on top of the microwave . Coffee maker sat on the counter of the bathroom. Third: when we left to go to a hockey game in the AM we return to our A.C. being turn off and window open on a 30+ day. Also I asked the man behind the front deck Friday night if I could cancel my second night and what would be the cost! His reply was yes and the cost is $60 dollars. When I came down the next morning before 8 and asked to cancelled. He was rude and said NO that he never said I could cancel for $60 dollars. I disputed this with him. He said he would stay to his word but for me not to say anything to the rest of the team. How fair does that sound. He then went on speaking his language and his arms where flying in the air, raising his voice. Really who is this guy. I went to my room gathered my belongings and my daughter and left. I was feeling unsafe and I had not a clue what we was yelling at me. I just had a bad feeling in my stomach. I also contacted my charge card company and told them to not let any charges from super 8 to go there as I paid them with my debit. I asked the man on my way out for a receipt and he yelled something in his language. I left and never return. What. Terrible experience for my daughter and I who where traveling solo . Terrible place.

Safe, comfortable, relatively quiet, needs better cleaning. Breakfast could use a more varied menu.
