My best friend and I stayed while we took a trip to hike the Porkies. We were delighted by this little place! It was so clean, and the owners are welcoming and helpful. We were hoping to see the Northern Lights and had had a conversation with the owners about them. We returned from hiking one day, and found a hand written note taped to our door saying that there was a chance to see them that night and offering us flashlights to walk down to the beach late at night. You just don't get that kind of personalized service at a big hotel. I can very much tell the owners take pride and joy in what they do--we really appreciated all the hard work they put into running such a beautiful motel!!

Friendly, good location. The owners treat you like family. They add home charm to a rustic property. We return every fall!

We had a wonderful stay at the Sunshine Motel. The owners were very nice. The motel was very clean. The bed was so comfortable.The rooms were perfect and they had every thing that we needed .The motel grounds had several lawn chairs,grills and a fire pit. Great place to sit and relax in the evening. To top it off, we were surrounded with everything we like to do. We will be back!

clean well stocked rooms microwave fridge coffee pot. cable tv very friendly older couple who own and operate it very reasonably priced

Nice, friendly folks. Cute rooms and cabins. The photos online are true to the double bed room. Quaint and peaceful.
