The best place to stay in the area by far. When ever I visit the Porky Pine mountains this is where I stay. I should book for more than one night each time though, we always end up staying longer than planned. Where else has a restaurant, bar, bowling alley, gift shop, and gas station? It's too convenient.

We were happy this place was here because we were hungry and cold. It's a cultural experience. The food was warm but nothing special. They seemed short handed with staff. It got us fed and warmed up. It was overall as expected.

The restaurant itself is very plain but it was very clean. Unfortunately it is bear hunting season so we didn't get to see any. But the food was good and our waitress was very pleasant and helpful.

Amazing spot for fun and great food. We stayed there for one night on a motorcycle trip around Superior. It turned out to be the most memorable night of our 7 day ride. The staff made us feel right at home, and the rooms (while modest) were everything we could hope for. I would recommend this place to any group that's planning a run through this area. We are actually planning a ride back with our Legion Riders club, with this being our destination! It was that much fun!

If you love bowling and watching bears eat, this is the place for you! Great place to stop and relax after riding.
