Have been here 3 times, everytime I left with what I needed. The ppl are great and their products are top notch.
Small but you can find what you loosing for and if you dont the staff are very accommodating they can bring it with the expansion of our city they need a biger place, Prices so so everithing costs way more on the coast.
We purchased a fridge on Jan 6th and was told it would be delivered to the store within 3 to 4 weeks from Calgary. The reasoning for length of time was presumably because "of covid". I accepted this. I then called today and asked what the status of my fridge being delivered was. She said, "I will call you back". I waited all day and no phone call. I called again after several hours and the woman started yelling at me saying "hey, I have no clue how long it's going to take, other people have to wait 2 years!. Rudest person ever. I will never deal with these idiots again and have canceled my order. That's what we got for shopping locally. Also we bought a stove that did not come with manual or cleaning kit. I had to Google maual and print it!
We bought an adjustable bed and washer/dryer and were very please with the level of service. The staff did their darndest to get us the best price . They also arranged pick up of our old items and delivered installed the new ones for a very reasonable fee. Karen even remember little details such as" do you have new metal washer cables'?" .Sunshine Coast Appliance is our go-to spot for good quality , competitive priced appliances on the coast.
The store experience was very good with proper sanitation and masks in place to support a proper return to shopping in store. Excellent job by the two men that delivered and installed the washer that we purchased. They followed a strict cleaning protocol in taking away the old washer, wearing masks and cleaning as they went along. They finished the entire process with a clean swipe on the door handles as they left our house. Delighted in the entire experience in shopping at Sunshine Coast Appliance and Mattress Experts.
Bought a brand new washer dryer a couple weeks ago. I had it installed by this company. They left without saying anything after install and I didn’t have a chance to inspect the actual unit before they left. Upon seeing shortly thereafter it I noticed the door hinge to dryer was bent and it didn’t close flush or plumb. I can’t close the dryer properly without the whole unit tipping, and I have to slam it really hard. Not like regular slamming of a dryer, This is nothing like any dryer I’ve seen. When I called them to ask them to return to see what I was talking the employee told me over the phone they were just like that and had to be slammed. I was very doubtful but took her word for it very disappointed. Now my parents have been using it and we are all confirming this is not normal at all. They refuse to assist me unless I deal with warranty. I will absolutely never support this business as they are unethical and I feel completely ripped off since they installed a defective unit and are assuming zero responsibility. Shameful. The lady working was not kind or empathetic, she said I had to report it within 48 hours. I reported it initially within minutes as soon as I noticed it. She brushed me off and told me it was fine and now it’s passed the timeframe and in warranty mode. I’m thoroughly disgusted by the unethical behaviour of this company.

I wanted to pass along a 5 star rating for Luke who installed our dishwasher. He was great - friendly, efficient, helpful and tidy! And thank you too Karen for sending along the sales information! It was a pleasure doing business with Sunshine Coast Appliances!
Have purchased fridge and now new expensive stove. Was delivered but not installed. Had to prepare for new install as more preparation needed. About 5 weeks later after prep completed took off plastic protecting stove. Found noticeable scratch. Sent pic. Richard would do nothing because of over 24 hr reporting which I was never informed about. Spoke to me in threatening manner when I asserted my legal rights. They have no evidence it was not scratched after delivery. Stove not installed or used at this point. Richard will refute my arguments but I'm saving my proof for court, if he makes no settlement. Poor store attitude. Blame the customer.
Our 23 year old stacker washer/dryer packed it in on Monday washday. We found what wanted online at Sunshine Coast Appliance Monday afternoon. Phoned in our order and a new stacker was delivered Wednesday morning. Great service start to finish with a quick professional response from Karen to a covid sensitive delivery and set in place from Rudy and sidekick they even took our old stacker. We would definitely recommend Sunshine Coast Appliance.
