Metropolis at Metrotown is easily the most comprehensive shopping destination in British Columbia, earning a solid 4 stars for its unmatched variety of over 300 stores ranging from high-end fashion to daily essentials like Walmart and T&T. Its direct connection to the Metrotown Skytrain station and massive free parking makes it incredibly convenient for a one-stop-shop experience, while the expansive food court offers a great selection of vegetarian and international options. However, the mall loses a star due to the overwhelming crowds on weekends and a somewhat confusing, maze-like layout that can be stressful to navigate if you're in a hurry. It remains the best choice for sheer selection in the province, though visiting on a weekday morning is highly recommended for a more relaxed experience.
Metropolis at Metrotown is an experience in itself. There is an abundance of stores with all the top brand stores and a food fare to satisfy everyone's taste. The place is huge and well decorated with wonderful array of shops, and stores to find fashion, consumer electronics and sundry items. It is very spacious with lots of public areas to sit down and pause. This mall has tons of underground parking and is a SkyTrain stop on the Expo line. This shopping mall is a shopping destination all by itself and an adventure to explore.
Metrotown is massive with plenty of parking space, though actually finding a spot can still be a bit of a hunt. The mall itself is huge. Great for shopping and food options, but if you’re going with a toddler, definitely carry a hip carrier or stroller. Family washrooms are convenient but limited, so expect some walking to find one. There are a few feeding rooms which is helpful.nThe food court is always busy, so patience is key. Overall, an amazing place with tons of stores and dining choices. Just go prepared if you have a little one with you!
Huge mall - think of any brand and you’ll probably find it here. Still, it’s one of the malls I try to avoid unless necessary, especially during Christmas or Black Friday. Parking is a nightmare during the holidays. Finding a table at the food court is almost impossible. Interesting people hang out at the entrance. However, I still sometimes need to go when I know I’ll definitely find whatever I need.
Metrotown isn’t just a mall, it’s a multiverse! For a nerd like me, it feels like stepping into a perfectly balanced RPG hub. One minute you’re digging through classical records like a refined villain, the next you’re staring at action figures you definitely don’t need but emotionally require. Clothes, tech, pop culture...everything coexists in beautiful consumer harmony. And when the brain overheats, the food options come to the rescue: Asian gems, comfort food, quick bites, and proper sit down spots. Metrotown understands one simple truth: heroes, collectors, and introverts all need good gear and better food.
