Metropolis at Metrotown is a fantastic shopping destination! It has a huge variety of stores — from high-end brands to everyday essentials — and there’s something for everyone. The mall is clean, well-organized, and easy to navigate. Food court options are great, with plenty of choices for all tastes. Parking is convenient, and public transit access is excellent. Always a great experience shopping here!
Still the biggest, still evolving — and still full of unexpected momentsnnMetrotown is still the largest and most iconic mall in the Lower Mainland — just like I remembered from 20 years ago. Coming back here in my 30s brought back memories I didn’t even know I’d lost. It reminded me of being young, walking through this place when life felt a little lighter.nnThe mall has changed a lot — in a good way. The layout is more modern, the stores have been upgraded, and there’s a stronger presence of designer brands now. It still has the energy of a busy city hub, but with a more polished feel than it had back then.nnAnd then there was the mouse.nYes — a small, cute mouse ran across the tiles. Not a rat, just a curious little thing. People gathered, some smiled, but of course one “Karen” reported it like it was a crisis. What impressed me most? Security didn’t freak out. They calmly assessed the situation, realized it wasn’t a threat, and helped guide the mouse to safety — no panic, no cruelty. Just kindness.nnThat moment, oddly enough, sealed the review.nThis mall isn’t just about brands or size — it’s about the people, the stories, the way small things still matter. A place that holds your memories and surprises you with new ones.
Massive mall with just about every store you can think of. Great if you’re in the mood for serious shopping or just want to wander around indoors for a bit. There’s a ton of food options, from quick snacks to sit-down spots. It gets busy, especially on weekends, but there’s always something going on. Feels like a city within a city with how much there is to see and do.
The Metrotown Mall is a vast and impressive mall with so many businesses to check out. Some of which I was pleasantly surprised to find there and at no other mall. I also like the giant space ornaments they have decorated around the skylights of the mall. I was a little disappointed that I did not look through the whole mall because the it is just so big, I mean the mall has three or more floors to it. I highly recommend coming to this mall. You are bound to find a store you would want to buy from.
