My daughter wanted to ride the ride outside the dollar store and I only has a toonie when it cost $1.00, so I brought her into the "dollar store" to buy something to get change I grabbed some items for Halloween $15 dollars worth of stuff and proceeded to checkout realizing I left my bankcard at home, so I left my things went home got my card walked back, all the while promising my daughter that ride when we got back. I go in buy all the items as well as a 3 pack of tennis balls walk out realizing I forgot to ask for two loonies at the till. After waiting our turn to go back into the store and back in cashier line up, our stuff we bought still in hand, I get to the till and it is not the owner this time but another lady was on till. I asked If I could please get two loonies I was just in the store a minute ago and forgot to ask to get 2 loonies she reluctantly opened the till and said " I'll only do this once for you." I was so shocked I just said thank you and walked out. Next time I'll spend my money at the coffee shop or IDA. Really poor service
I wanted to buy an item for $1.49, the cashier rang it up at $1 in their own system, then told me it should be $3 and would not sell it for the sticker price of $1.49. I’d take my business elsewhere
Older lady working as a cashier yesterday was very rude. Never returning again.
A typical Dollar+ store. Has some highly priced items but a great variety of nice stuff.

You can find lots of stuff here, but not that cheap as dollartree.
