I would love to give you guys 5 stars, but you should really think about updating your computers. I was overcharged by $40 and because at a later date, I scheduled to stay one more day, you were telling us multiple times that we should've left that morning, while we were trying to relax. Eventually everything was sorted and the woman in the golf cart was very nice, but it really shouldn't have happened. Also, make it easier to check in. Other than that, the view is GREAT! Bathrooms are clean and well kept, and other than the aforementioned, we really had a nice time. The night sky is gorgeous over Lake Superior. Nothing around to distract the view of the water.

We stayed at tent site #9 at the end of September. It was wonderful- the owners were very welcoming and everything was very clean and well maintained. Across from our site, there was a tiny red hut that I assumed was a pit toilet. Holding my breath as I opened the door, I was shocked to see a full bathroom with a real toilet and a shower! The beach is rocky and you can hunt for agates. We'll definitely be back!

The biggest attraction of this campground by far is the campsites right on the water, with spectacular views, especially the beautiful sunsets viewed right from your camp chairs next to your tent. That being said, the biggest downside to this campground detracts from the lovely sunsets, and that is the guests who fly drones to get photos of the sunset. As my 8 yo son said, "why can't they take photos without a drone?". The noisy whirring of the drones is a huge distraction from enjoying the peaceful splendor of nature in a place that would otherwise be secluded from much human interference. I suggest that the owners should consider following the example of the state parks in the area and ban the operation of drones on the property. I'd love to return again for the lovely lakeside campsites, but if drones are still permitted, I'll strongly consider looking for a state park to camp at instead.

We stayed 3 nights in a tent. The bathrooms were very clean and very well kept. The beach the campground is on is beautiful, lots of great rocks and agates to pick through. Watching the sunset over the lake was amazing (There is a reason they call it Sunset Bay!). The owners are very kind and accommodating and the people who stay here are all very nice.

Quaint little RV park/campground that is perfectly named for the beautiful sunsets that you'll enjoy there. We usually prefer more remote and rustic campgrounds (like national or state forest ones), but this place has charm and some decently secluded sites to give you a sense of being away from it all.
