Sunrise Caribbean Restaurant

I’ve been buying Sunrise for many years and over time the food seems to be getting worse yet prices keep rising. A meal definitely is not worth what you pay for. I’d say that this location is the worst. Horrible customer service...the staff acts like you’re troubling them when serving you your order. They’re always out of something, serve tiny portions, and the food at times is super salty. I have been served rotten coleslaw on a few occasions....Only to realize once I got home with my takeout and opened up my meal. I have memories of how Sunrise restaurant was so good as a child but i can no longer say the same. Ppl I speak to also say the same. Horrible horrible horrible. I’m finally done with Sunrise restaurant. Can’t afford to get sick after eating there.

use to be very good. its gets worst and worst now. packaging become smaller and chicken taste drier.

The employees are rude and very unfriendly . They make you feel very uncomfortable and act as if you are begging them for free food! The food keeps getting worse over the years and the prices keep going up .

I actually had a pretty good first experience with this restaurant, the lady serving us was very patient as it was our first time there trying to figure out what to get, i was very happy with the oxtail meal and fried chicken i purchased and the chicken was freshly made and it was pretty close to closing so overall i was very happy with my experience i hope i get the same lady who served me next time i go.

Hmm. I feel like an elephant in the room for leaving a positive review for this place ha. I was just there on a Monday late afternoon after work. The lady at the counter was nice enough to show me the variety of selection; oxtail, chicken and beef dishes that's available. There were plenty of jerk/ fried chickens and other things ready to go. They weren't out of any, it seemed. I'm not too familiar with Caribbean food so it was helpful that she showed me all those. Food tastes good. $4.20 for an extra quarter chicken. Definitely get one. Gravy was enough to soak the whole rice and beans I got and coleslaw wasn't bad at all. My experience was good. Definitely will visit again
