A lovely, if obscure place. Good, unhurried meal to superb guitar background and lovely , personable waitress. We were there in winter and darlk afforded no views but I gather there is a lake and a patio beside it. We'll be back!

We took my Mother out for a special meal at the Consulate Dining Lounge in Caledon last week, to celebrate her 80th Birthday. I still can taste the flavours and the views from the Consulate which is the fine dining restaurant in the Royal Ambassador Banquet Hall is amazing. The Fall colours were magnificent and can be seen through the huge floor to ceiling windows. Our meal and service was fantastic, and would give the overall experience a 10/10. The salad and main entrée (local lamb) coupled with a local Maple Gold wine was great and to top it off a piece of Susannah's Apple Cake which is made on the premises rounded off the meal. We will be back!!!
