Good place for all day breakfast. The staff are always nice, the food is good and the prices are reasonable. The restaurant has been renovated recently and is very clean.
Server was good but every other item we asked for couldn't be provided. Table was also not cleaned before we were seated. Ended up having syrup all over our hands and arms. Understaffed or not, this wasn't a busy place and surely isn't any excuse for cleanliness or lack of product. Overpriced side of fruit at $5 a piece was the clincher for my 2-star rating.
Real shame how horrible this place is. I’ve been 3 different times giving it another chance. Service is awful each time. They ignore you, they don’t carry basic things like brown sugar, the prices are too high considering quality of food and portion size, miserable staff… this place needs a revamp and better trained staff. Not to mention there are no specials which is off for a breakfast joint. Will NOT be returning
I’m sure they’re doing their best, but this place is a trainwreck. 1 server. 1 host. 2 Kids polishing cutlery that apparently aren’t even allowed to greet and seat people standing at the door for 5 min, but they’ll stare awkwardly at you standing there waiting. 8-10 tables for one server to work is way too much if you own this place….We were finally seated, but were never even greeted by a server, offered water or coffee in 15 min after 5 min at the door. Everyone sitting and eating or waiting for food looked pretty upset to very angry. Nobody even bothered to say anything or stop us when we got up and started to put on our coats to leave. Do yourself a favor and just go to Jackson’s Landing!
Do yourself a favor and don’t bother going in there if you are a person of color. Waited 10 mins by the door servers were walking around and didn’t sit us down as soon as a Caucasian couple walked that is when hosts came to sit us and them down. We were never told that there is an hour wait for the food when we expressed this to the staff she was extremely rude and manager was even worse at the same time other tables were given proper explanations as to why there will be a delay. It was my worst dining experience in Burlington. If there is zero stars to give I would have given them.
My friend and I came to the restaurant. No one acknowledged us for 15 min. After 15 min we were sat by the waitress.. it took her another 20 min for her to take our order. It took them 1 hour exactly to get our food to us. When the waitress came over, I told her that we were waiting for an hour for our food. She said well to bad because we are under staffed. I told her she should of told us that in the beginning. She said well leave then. I actually couldn’t believe that. 2 min later a young guy came by and started yelling at us in front of all the other customers. He was saying we do not tolerate disrespect in our restaurant. I told him that no one was disrespectful. He said if you have no manners you can leave. We even tried to reason with him, but he said look at you and look at your attitude.. I couldn’t believe the racism, just because I am a Muslim girl wearing the hijab. It was extremely rude, disrespectful and embarrassing. I will never go back to that restaurant. Such rude customer service and racism is written all over it. Kid-friendliness: Extremely rude, racists staff, disrespectful,

That reminiscent diner feel, with a bit more of a modern setting. Tucked in a strip mall, with a fairly good parking lot, Sunnyside grill is worth visiting. There are a number of affordable dining options around, and a number of breakfast places around too. But very few combine reasonably priced menu items that are really really good. Staff are welcoming and service is fast and efficient. Everyone greets you and takes the time to say goodbye too. Not a lot of places do that anymore. I have been a few times, and have enjoyed the food, service and atmosphere each time. Biggie breakfast is so worth it.
Soft mushy potatoes with under cooked bacon and over cooked eggs. Went straight to the trash bin. One order was missing eggs entirely. So many better options. This was a disgusting disgrace. Asked for crispy potatoes and got mush. Photo on the bottom is the greasy slop I got from Sunnyside grill compared to photo on top of the replacement meal I had to purchase at Wimpys diner. You can see the difference for yourself.
Great first experience! Food was hot and scrumptious and presented very nicely. Iced blended beverages were worth the try. Very crowded but no waiting for a table. Definitely going back!
